Went to Tesco (think if Walmart and Target had a hideously deformed, retarded baby). They have been full on queuing and one way systems for months. Today, nothing. Walked straight into the shop, got my stuff, straight through self service and out again.
Aldi was the same. The only thing not normal was the perspex screens on the tills. Very few mask wearers.
Pubs are back open and they are absolutely normal, apart from instead of a scrum at the bar like we Brits prefer, it was a queue. Actually got served quicker than normal.
On sat we had a street party to celebrate one of the neighbours 30th. Everyone together, drinking and having fun. I catered it and there was no masks, no distancing and no fear. Was bloody lovely to see.
People are getting sick of this shit. Normal is coming back fast, commies get fucked.
I wish I could say the same for New Mexico. Damn governor won't leave us alone. Everything except stores are shut down. Rio Rancho's school system keeps saying they want to reopen ASAP, but we just got word they're just gonna give all the kids chrome books and do school at home. I doubt my kid will see a classroom for the rest of the year.
It's rampant hysteria being pushed by the corrupt media. They think we are too stupid to see it but nearly everyone I have spoken to has agreed that it has all been a huge over-reaction.
Thankfully our press have been sceptical of the doom and gloom claims which is a massive help.
The BBC with its constant fear mongering has pissed a lot of people off. I would be very surprised if they are not de-funded within a year. And seeing as they are totally dependant on taxpayer money and have no idea how to compete that will effectively mean no more BBC.
I needed to go to the shops today.

Pushing to shut things down again and mandating masks is going to blow up in the commie's faces.
Yup. I ll be interested to see how it pans out here in the North East. Civil disobedience is kind of a regional hobby round here.

This has just been tiring overall.
