After they were stolen from the Native Americans. Yosemite used to be the Indians' hunting grounds.

Interesting how the Democrats never seem to blame that on Republicans, only on "Americans."

The correct term is conquered. Much like how the entire world has its sovereign borders of today. When i read stolen, it makes me laugh. Indians fought amongst themselves btw. There were multiple tribes "stealing" land from each other. You're a snowflake.

I'm not going to feel bad about conquering a bunch of land from a bunch of people who spent 8,000 years having not advanced technologically in any capacity. They were stone age cavemen in a time where we had transoceanic galleons and firearms.

Also if you wanted to be specific, Hispanics stole most of those lands since the entire west belonged to Mexico first.

The ONLY one I'll cede is the devastation of the buffalo.

Savages had that right. Other than that? Boohoo. Sorry you guys couldn't quit raping/enslaving and scalping one another for a second to fight off "invaders".

Noble savage is a MYTH

Which Indians? Which native Americans? You’re aware that they fought constantly and weren’t all one big tribe right? Conquering land has existed throughout history, natives did it too...they just lost this time

when you lose a war you lose the land and the Indians lost it to the Spanish in CA who enslaved them for like 300 years.

Trump was a democrat, back when everybody gave him civil rights awards, praised him for his honesty and integrity, and reveled in the business acumen he dispensed on a TV show they staged, broadcast, and publicized.

The tide turned when he threatened to protect Americans from slave-labor competition (NAFTA, TPP, USMCA, ‘America First’), vote-dissolution (VoterID, Illegal immigration reform), Globalization and extra-legal wealth transfers (Paris Accords, Iran Deal, Ukraine-style corruption, China supply-chains, defunding mandatory public unions), endless foreign conflicts (Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan draw-downs), government power-grabs (tax reform, regulations reductions, rules transparency, expedited reviews), and exploitation (border wall, human trafficking crackdown, prison reform).
