They haven’t even been treated in the way every single other force has treated lawful combatants in wars prior. These people have no idea the hell that they do not experience. Every night they are shown great mercy by federal men who could eliminate the entirety of the insurgency. They’re not going to be happy if that happens but they’ll never be happy.
