The premise is 'live and let live; your success or your failure depends on your natural ability combined with your ambition, not 'YOU MUST CHANGE YOUR VALUES AND CONFORM OR BE DOXXED; PEOPLE WHO NATURALLY SUCK DESERVE ARTIFICIAL SUCCESS AT YOUR EXPENSE." The Libertarian party platform now is liberal garbage, probably should change my voter registration but I hate' 'identifying' as this or that. Libertarian USED to feel like a way to opt out of that, but not anymore.
And libertarian USED to feel more conservative than liberal, but now the reverse is true. We valued social freedom, before the great push for men who surgically flipped their wangs inside to use women's bathrooms.
The Libertarian party focuses on non-issues like Marijuana as the country gets taken over by a bunch of communist lunatics indoctrinating our youth. The latter is a much greater threat to freedom than some drug laws.
If you take libertarian-leftism to its extreme, you get Anarcho-communism, which is literally the dumbest philosophy ever devised. It doesn't make any sense. If you're a communist, you want everyone to share their wealth. If you're an anarchist, you don't want a government. How can anarcho-communists expect everyone to share without a government-like structure using tyranny to force people to give up their property?
Anarcho-capitalism has many problems too, but at least it's a relatively consistent philosophy.
