If you live in a country near Asia, then you can usually tell from facial structures alone. The eyes are also a bit different, but obviously with race-mixing it will be hard to tell a korean with chinese roots versus someone from China.
Next is mannerisms, fashion, demeanor and overall behaviour.
This can be called racist or whatever. But yes culture does create stereotypes.
If you follow Korean culture, you'd notice the males like a particular type of haircut that covers their foreheads. They also tend to be fashionable, but are not into building muscles. I believe this is because their women demographic demands those features, so hey gotta go with the demand.
Next of course is the language and even accent. Obviously dead give away if you have any exposure to asian languages.
Lastly, if you have a good sense of smell, (again i dont mean it as racist), you can smell the difference. Koreans love kimchi, and Chinese love their chinese food. There is nothing wrong with this. I love their foods. You are what you eat though. Same with Indian food, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese etc.
