I've got to imagine by this point it is largely the same group protesting every night. A few days, sure, could be anyone. For it to go 50+ days from early evening to well past midnight tells me these people don't have jobs or financial responsibilities.
By 10 PM or so, all the people with jobs have gone home. That's usually when things go violent in PDX. Wheeler found that out firsthand tonight. He'd have been toast w/o the 6-7 security people they had. As it was, they had to beat it to the nearest city building and barricade the door by midnight.
I was secretly kind of hoping that The feds would have to step in if you extract them from the crowd, I mean rioters, just to see what his reaction would be.
