When you organically get views, you naturally get the proper ratio of likes and subscriptions, which is what leads to real growth, whereas purchased views are simply purchased views and genuinely harm the videos and channel (you won't get recommended, especially not in your region when all your views are from India, things like that).
Sauce: deleting my first channel and starting a new one from scratch because I thought I could pay for views to increase visibility and all it did was ruin the channel. It used to be a viable option, but today, your best bet is to just make a genuinely good video, establish a social media (twitter, etc) presence to spread the video around, share the video everywhere you can, ask others to share, like ,subscribe, etc, and most importantly, is making a video every, or nearly every day. Growth will be very slow at the start but if the content is good it will eventually pick up and growth will happen exponentially. It's hard, frustrating, and difficult to stick it out making videos during that time when you know almost nobody is watching
