And on top of that, there's plenty of doubt about deaths being counted

Just watch, the businesses that fail will get bought up for pennies on the dollar. This is political, but it's also consolidation of wealth.

Ah yes, protect everyone who are also wearing a mask that is supposed to prevent them from getting sick, lol so ridiculous

I was in Lowes yesterday, no mask, all employees wearing one by force but they were being oddly kind. Cute cashier even lowered hers a bit. I think the tide may be turning.

NO MASK strength in numbers!

All the anomalies and WTF's of this whole CoronaHoax;

  1. Der, whaddya mean I should WASH MY HANDS?!
  2. Erm, ya mean I should STAY HOME WHEN I'M SICK?!
  3. So you're saying sneezing INSIDE MY SHIRT will help keep snot from forming on other people's faces - OKAY, what a great idea!
  4. So all those years and years of using gas station bathrooms and thinking they were "sanitized for my protection" meant nothing and I could have died!?
  5. What do you mean they don't normally sanitize every menu in every restaurant between uses! O>M>G!

I'm sure there are more, but just typing this raises my blood pressure.

Imma dig deeper: those deaths likely ALSO include pneumonia and influenza - AKA: PIC as found here:

Truth is, I know of a couple places near me that never shut down, never got into socialist distancing, no masks, and get this- ZERO KUNG FLU LOTTERY WINNERS. And talking to people I know all over the country, outside of reservations we call "cities", you wouldnt even know this shit was going on.

Can you just call hospitals to verify numbers? Is there any way to view ORESTAR's numbers? (Or whatever their hospital data system is). One of the issues we are having is that 2/3 of deaths are happening in the home, and not in a hospital now.

I don't know anyone either. My grandmother died (90's) and it was not from Covid. It was because of Covid-she was lonely and isolated and was unable to see a single family or friend for over four months in her nursing home. She would ask on the phone, "When are you going to visit me?" and no one knew when. It was heartbreaking. So I have had enough of this BS.

Coronavirus is the scientific name for the common cold.

BuT nOt AlL CoRoNa ViRuSeS aRe ThE cOmMoN CoLd!!!1

Ok...and? This one is. Not all numbers are even. If I say 4 is even and you say not all numbers are even, that doesn't prove that 4 isn't even.

The symptoms are nothing to worry about. It's called just getting sick. Then you're going to name one "super duper scary symptom" that causes people to die. Ok buddy...what percentage of people get that?

.1%

Wait...say that again...?

I said .1%

Oh! So corony virus only causes "super duper scary symptom" in .1% of people...which is an interesting way of saying it doesn't cause it in 99.9% of people. My point being...it's facinating that you can say something "causes" a side effect when it doesn't 99.9% of the time. It's almost like it doesn't cause it.

In fact...

It's almost like the "virus" that's called the common cold, has the same symptoms of the common cold, same mortality rate of the common cold, and same average age of death of the common cold..................wait for it.......................IS THE FUCKING COMMON COLD.

If you were a globalist bastard who wanted to fundamentally transform society (a.k.a. make a "new normal") why wouldn't you convince people to be deathly afraid of something that is, in fact, normal. The common cold...

13
casualdiverter 13 points ago +14 / -1

COVID-19 is not the common cold. It's a real virus and it's marginally worse than the common cold. It's definitely made-out to be a far bigger problem than it is in the media and it's definitely being abused for political gain. But I don't see much reason doubt it's existence as a novel virus.

13

5
casualdiverter 5 points ago +5 / -0

It's colloquially referred to as COVID-19. The fact that you knew what I meant with sufficient specificity to correct me is evidence that my terminology effectively communicates what I mean.

I got it but many others wouldn’t. It’s important to be precise in these times. This crisis is not a health one. It’s about the panicked reaction of the uneducated public.

8
BillionsAndBillions 8 points ago +8 / -0

I always thought rhinovirus was the main cause of common cold, but apparently there are a few common sources of the common cold, including coronavirus. The testing we're using can't distinguish between COVID-19, and other coronaviruses, so we are locked down for the common cold.

https://www.webmd.com/cold-and-flu/cold-guide/common_cold_causes

6
traveravis 6 points ago +6 / -0

The causes of 20%-30% of adult colds, presumed to be viral, remain unidentified.

I don't know anyone who even got sick from 'rona, let alone die from it, and I live in New York, in one of the supposed worst-hit counties (Rockland) in all of the U.S.

This is a scamdemic / plannedemic. At least half the deaths are caused by Cuomo and the other demonic Dem governors who forced sick people into nursing homes to infect and kill the elderly. Those who tested positive, they murdered in hospitals that forced them onto ventilators, because they received $39,000+ per patient.

This brave nurse blew the whistle on it all.

Be real, how many people do you know in your personal inner circle that have died or had someone die from this thing?

Me : no one

Thank God

10
chuckachookah 10 points ago +11 / -1

Deaths

Personal inner circle: none (Thank God).

A couple degrees out within "family": one (spouse's mom's spouse's uncle; 91 yo and had two stints in hospital last year that were also 'close calls")

A couple degrees out within friends: none.

5
ShiffsDeadHooker 5 points ago +5 / -0

I know one person personally whose brother spent 11 days in the hospital with the China virus. He didn't get intubated but was obviously pretty sick. Other than that? No-one.

3
PhD_in_everything 3 points ago +3 / -0

Similarly here. Friend of a friend died from it. (allegedly) He was 94 years old.

7
VinnysMagicGrits 7 points ago +7 / -0

My father's friend's mother died in her 90's but she had prior conditions like liver disease she was fighting for years and was on oxygen even before rona. He tells me on the death certificate they listed COVID-19 as the cause of death. Makes you think how so many people are in on this plandemic.

3
CodeMonkey 3 points ago +3 / -0

My grandfather died of unknown causes in a nursing home literally the day before they started tracking COVID, and there were numerous COVID deaths in the facility over the following weeks. So possibly 1.

I known of no one that got sick. Only two people I know can give a name of someone they know that got sick. But not one person can give the name of someone that actually died from it.

It's always "my client's friend husband's sister brother uncle aunt died of it; so WEAR YOUR FUCKING MASK!! School is out until October!"

10
HuggableBear 10 points ago +10 / -0

I work in the court system of Georgia, working with clerks and judges who are in contact with people all day long.

I personally know two of those people who have died and 6 more that got really sick from it, along with several others who tested positive without bad symptoms. This is a real thing, it's not a hoax, and it can be terrible.

The scam is all in the percentages.

Outside that subset of people who are in constant contact with other people, I know only one person who tested positive. She's 35 years old and it laid her up for a week with a fever and chills. That's it. Her kids were around her 24/7 during that period and none of them got it.

Weak people can die from this thing. Weak people can die from any respiratory illness and frequently do. The only difference in this one is that it is more contagious and generally most likely to spread before you realize you have it. Masks don't work, social distancing doesn't work, none of it works because the only way to stop it is to isolate yourself four days before you show symptoms. No one is going to do that. It's impossible.

We need to stop trying to prevent this thing and just focus on treatment. People are going to die from it. People die from everything. Tens of thousands die annually from car wrecks but we don't stop driving because the alternative isn't possible. Just like this virus, the only way to prevent it isn't possible.

We are destroying our economy and thus the lives of millions of people to save the lives of a few thousand who might not have died from something else this year. It's beyond absurd. I'm very sorry for the people who died from this.

But frankly, no, your grandma living to 87 instead of 84 is not worth the entire economy. It's not worth destroying the life savings of hundreds of thousands of business owners. It's not worth taking on an additional FOUR TRILLION DOLLARS IN DEBT. It's not worth tens of millions of people losing their jobs. It's not worth millions of children missing out on their education. It's not worth destroying the entire social structure that humans have built over millennia.

It's just not.

I am sympathetic to the pain of people who lost a loved one. Now it's time for them to be sympathetic to the millions of other people whose lives have been utterly destroyed by their chicken little panic.

4
mnguy12000 4 points ago +4 / -0

I know a HELL OF A LOT more people who are fuck financially because of this then actually go the damn Covid. I know personally 4 businesses that shut down because they couldn't keep it going. The sad part is its the service industry that is taking most of the lumps. Once that 600 ends they are truly screwed.

2
billiejoebandit 2 points ago +2 / -0

EVERY year I know of 2-3 people in my one degree removed circle of friends that gets knocked down hard by the flu. Like in bed for a week kind and upchucking etc.

I know NO ONE who even has tested positive for this “more contagious and deadly virus” much less anyone that has been hospitalized for it. I have a lot of “my dad’s neighbor” or “my sisters best friend” tested positive. But no hospitalizations or at home struggling.

If this is more contagious and deadly than the flu, how is that possible?

13
ChrisTheSoberITGuy 13 points ago +13 / -0

With how overreported it was, it really was just the flu during flu season, and now it's similar to influenza in it's off season.

It's summer. You step out into the sun and all surfaces are disinfected.

11
Tazhawkeye 11 points ago +11 / -0

The CDC updates their numbers based on when the person died. Florida had 150 something a few weeks ago. Most of those deaths were in June while the daily death number was in July.

The States report the daily reported deaths, but the person may have passed away in May and that court/hospital is just completing their records now.

16
Phins360_FL 16 points ago +17 / -1

FL doesn't report the date of death. Their data reflects the date of the REPORT of death.

They are arrears accounting deaths and dropping in batches to make it seem worse.

Like the other day ABC reported we had 156 deaths in a day, no. We had 18 deaths THAT day. The other 138 were from May, April.

5
HuggableBear 5 points ago +5 / -0

The news in Georgia on Tuesday was all in a panic over "The second deadliest day since the pandemic began!"

They didn't mention that those numbers were from a Monday when all the weekend deaths get reported, so every Monday is high, nor did they report that the weekend prior had been one of the lowest reported yet, nor did they report that even with that high one-day number, the 7 day moving average was still on the way down, as it has been for months.

It's 100% fear porn.

EDIT: Look at this shit. This is the official GA covid site

https://dph.georgia.gov/covid-19-daily-status-report

Do you see anything at all that looks alarming in that data? The numbers the media uses aren't even represented anywhere on there. They're reporting on initial reports, not corrected reports with actual death dates factored in or from adjusted numbers with deaths that were not in fact from covid removed. Yet there won't be a single retraction anywhere.

5
chuckachookah 5 points ago +6 / -1

This is true.

But, there are real concerns emerging about the reporting after-the-fact. A pede posted a side by side of the tallies and last week (or week before) there were 100s being added to the totals from March. This stretches the definition of "a few weeks to update the numbers" (not coming at you, but what everyone is using to explain these latent adjustments).

But, many other problems exist. A few that HAVE TO BE considered are:

The Definitions Problem

The Problem of "Confirmed" Positive

The Problem of Presumed

The Moral Hazard to Miscode

9
lsudoc 9 points ago +9 / -0

It is insane that our patients are listening to the media over their own doctors too. About time we took back control.

9
tonightm06 9 points ago +9 / -0

It is and always was a political weapon to be used in an election year.

Sadly America isn't the only country going through this since socialism has infected all levels of medical science.

So you are getting socialists telling conservative governments to basically kill the country they are in.

It took some countries a decade to recover from the 2008 crash and this is much much worse. Markets may be fine atm but local economies have been gutted.

Look at the bottom line, Percent of Expected Deaths column: it's 41.
That is, there were 59% FEWER overall deaths between July 11 and July 18 than "expected" this year (in comparison w/ prior years, I assume).

Read your own article...this same shit gets posted every week.

COVID-19 death counts shown here may differ from other published sources, as data currently are lagged by an average of 1–2 weeks.

Data from the last 2 weeks on here is incomplete and therefore useless. Look at the total deaths from the most recent week at 34% of its usual total. People didn't all of a sudden stop dying.

Spez: downvoted for facts

1
BleachedBits 1 point ago +2 / -1

What are you talking about? Deaths from 3 weeks ago are 94% of normal. Deaths from 4 weeks ago are 100% of normal. There is more than just the incomplete last 2 weeks of data showing that deaths are way down. The daily cases reported start spiking June 20th, but death rates have continued to fall.

It's good news, and contrary to all mainstream media reports that Covid is out of control.

I don't know why anyone thinks this has to do with the reporting change though, the CDC numbers have been like this all along.

-1
ADAM_SCHITT -1 points ago +1 / -2

What are you talking about? These numbers are accurate up until the last couple weeks because it is incomplete. The most recent weeks haven't been fully reported yet. So in 2 weeks we can look back and it will be accurate. I know deaths are down in general but OP's assertion that deaths are down to 100 per day is not correct because the most recent data is incomplete.
