Social workers often show disdain for white poor people. They criticize them for not maintaining a job or clean house. When they meet a black family in the same conditions, social workers make excuses for them. The "family" court is one of the largest contributors to male suicide but until it happens to you most men just ignore it and women intentionally don't like to talk about it.
You're right. But I still think we should provide some kinda thing for people seeking real help to get it. I agree most are too lost. But we should still do something to help because these are our people too. Many of them are decent people. I certainly would rather help them than foreigners not in the USA. Jesus would be compassionate. I'm not saying let's enable. But let's have an open heart and help those who want it.

The only social workers that are any use or give a shit are the ones that work with young children. In my experience the rest are totally useless. The ones that work with the kids usually have crazy work loads and don't really have much power to do anything. It's crazy the conditions I've seen kids in and the court won't order them taken when they are being neglected in complete squalor
My wife worked for the State of GA in the 80's fr an education program. She had friends that dealt with Child abuse and such. Most of them could only take it for a few years max before they had to get out. That shit is so horrific it has a lasting impact. Much respect for those that work for the kids.

Careful how you generalize LLchurch, being able to discern between good people in a profession and bad ones is essential in the coming years - you yourself could easily be generalized in whatever category your opponent chooses and proving yourself an individual will be your only recourse.
My wife is a social worker - do you really want to get into how she is any use or gives any shits? Your experience is your experience, but as I stated above the term 'social worker' is liberally applied to MANY fields/trade in the industry and not all social workers are 'Personal Support Workers' or abusive old folks' home workers.
That's why I said in my experience. Which is another way of saying anecdotally. I also live in a major city so it is much different from suburbs or rural areas I'm sure.

anecdotally, the social workers I know are slowly driven insane by the clients they have to deal with on a daily basis. Most of these people are driven by a liberal-bleeding-heart desire to help other people - the same sort of motivation that causes people to become cops or soldiers..
I'm sure most did join wanting to do good and help the world but they get beaten down by the system and bureaucracy. I've also had the misfortune of meeting some AA/diversity hires so those experience were shit as you can imagine.
It's a struggle not to give in regardless of occupation.

Yup. I work for a mental health center. These people couldn't de-escalate themselves out of a pillow fight. Even when a client "goes off", they have to have an entire team just to calm the client down.
The center has a hard enough time keeping case managers in stock, as it were, much less having to send them out into the community to do law enforcement's job. They'd get eaten alive.
I looked at a few of our sister centers' job listings. Those in the bigger cities have a ton of open positions for case managers.

They don’t. I dated a social worker. She was a 95 lb white woman. Constantly required to go to peoples houses that were accused of being violent to inspect their homes and potentially take their children. Half the time she would be so sketched out she would call the police to assist her before she would even knock on the door. This is rural Missouri by the way, not even one of these cesspools of violence and degeneracy.

As mentioned, they don't and won't. There's already good data on CPS case workers going hard at White and two-parent families, and ignoring single parents or families with abusive parents. Case Workers know that the abusive ones are more likely to hurt THEM so essentially ignore then to spend more time with 'safe' families.

For context, he did have a sword and he did charge the mob. If he had done it like the St. Louis couple, clearly displaying to the mob that he would be willing to defend his property but doing it peacefully, its possible that the outcome would have been different.
