OK! New gun owners ! EXTREMELY important!!! Make sure you re- assemble your firearm PROPERLY! Big break in the McCloskey case, her gun was inoperable at the time it was confiscated. If your gun didn't come with a manual, look it up on YT, someone probably has a vid on it. (www.rt.com)

That helps her case, but that's some scary-as-fuck news.

Imagine pointing an unusable gun at someone only to have them pull out a real one.

Seriously, I get her motivation for doing so, but damn, if I'm going to point a gun directly at someone, it's going to be 1) fully functional, 2) loaded, and 3) with all safeties off and a finger on the trigger.

Anything less is just begging for a fatality on the gun-holder's part.
