I have lost respect for so many fellow Americans during the past few months. While I’m glad to see our patriot numbers continue to rise, the ignorance or pure choice of giving up their freedoms shocks me.
I’ve watched and listened to neighbors, coworkers, church members, and friends completely lose their objective thinking (if they ever had any to begin with). They are terrified of this fake pandemic, trembling sheep fully committed to these masks (like magic wands). They are segregating their children from others, staying away from work, yet expecting either their company or the government to fully provide for them. Then also fully supporting these “protesters” right to “free speech and expression”. Yet if you choose to not wear a mask or disagree with their hysteria your freedom of speech isn’t justified and you are shunned.
How are there this many lunatics that have survived this far? Survival of the fittest has been completely decimated by government overreach and welfare.

Also my wife and I have also stopped attending our local church for similar reasons. Our pastor recently was trying to guilt trip everyone about system racism against blacks and the part we play in it, then was attempting to shame us into bowing to local government in times like these.
We don’t need a pastor to tread on our political choices. We have created a small group of like minded patriots and are worshipping and praying together. THATS what a church is. Fellow Christians coming together.

Turns out this place has been the closest thing I've seen to what a real church probably would look like.

Sounds like you attend my church. Our pastor is always talking about race and how it is white people that must do "work" to help the blacks. I stopped attending the online sermon long ago. Glad you have found a group to worship with.
My church and the larger church it belongs to had a "let's let the blacks engage in self pity while we debase ourselves" night, billed as "a night of prayer for racial justice." Oh, really.

I quit the church and let my elder know why. I still haven't figured out how to find any patriots yet, to start a new church in someone's home.
All the stores here require masks now, so I wear one in then pull it off right after. Nobody seems to care, at least, nobody has said anything.
To make it even weirder, I come down an isle and see a really big (not fat, but buff) guy coming towards me with his cart, hand over his face. He's holding a f-ing NAPKIN over his face while pushing his cart around. This guy looks like he could beat the crap out of anybody, and here he is walking around with a napkin on his face.

Walked into a local coffee shop a couple days ago. I live in a mask mandate state. Everyone had masks on except me. It’s ridiculous. No one said a word, though. People love complying I guess.

They were the colonists who actually fought with the British against the Whigs (aka Patriots). More recently, we have the German people who sided with the Nazis and turned on their own friends and neighbors. This is very true. And as a fellow history lover, the psychology of our fellow human race through history has always intrigued me.
As you stated, the weak are always prone to exchange their freedoms for an imaginative “safety” if it means they don’t have to lift a finger in exchange. It is what has enslaved millions for centuries going back to the beginning of time.
Sometimes they want safety or an illusion of safety. Sometimes people are just being dicks. Look how many East Germans worked for Stasi, snitching on their friends, family, and neighbors. Some were forced, a lot did it by choice.

Someone on here had a post yesterday wondering if the switch on masks was a precursor to requiring voter ID, since everyone would have their face covered at the polls (because let's be honest, it's not going anywhere until after the election). I hope it's true. I'm still not wearing one while walking around minding my own business.

I'm in the middle of a southern summer swamp right now and people are walking around outside with masks on. Heat index was 105 yesterday. I can barely breathe this time of year because of allergies anyway. I walked into two places not wearing a mask. If anyone says anything to me, I'm of a mind to ask them if they want to be the one to drag my passed out carcass off the floor after 15 minutes.

I (along with most conservatives in my church) kept my beliefs largely to myself, but I’ve found that now is time for the red pill—-but it’s much more effective when given in a one on one conversation instead of just throwing it up on social media. You can do whatever you want, but being consistent and calm and ready to give a logical answer makes it easier to reach people. Sadly, some are too dense to think critically, even if it’s spoon fed to them....but reality will become their cruel master eventually.
