I just read the entire Wikipedia article on this guy.

He reminds me of the current peaceful rioters: They see themselves as the heroes and us as the bad guys, but they also think that they are the victims and their violence is justified.

It'd be like if Hitler started killing Jews and Gypsies and Fags while simultaneously claiming Germany was the victim, giving validity to the invasion of Poland and all the extreme violence of WWII.

Oh, wait, that's exactly what Hitler did.
