You are probably wasting your time. If you are going to raise another man’s kid, then that’s on you. However, you are more than capable of landing a woman who is hotter and doesn’t have any children.

Not to say there aren't good reasons for someone being a single parent. But what is the %? I'd say the vast majority of single parents is due to bad choices of the single parent. People make mistakes, sure. But let's not ignore the majority may not deserve a second chance or for someone else to take on the burden of taking care of a child that isn't theirs.

Don’t date in your age range then. I’m 37 and recently married an early 20s lady who is based as can be, and her goals are significantly trad. She’s also the hottest that I’ve dated in a while. In this case, I’m the one with two kids and she only has one on the way (mine).
