I just think we ought to hold single parents accountable for the (more than likely) terrible choice they made because of the very negative consequence it has for the child and broader society. How would you feel finding out the reason you didn't grow up without a father at all was due to your mother being immature, irresponsible, and careless about her child's future by having a baby with a man who will leave.
Hold them accountable by removing them from the dating pool and preventing them from ever not being a single parent? At what cost to the child? "Sorry kid, we know it's extremely detrimental for you to grow up with only one parent, so we're going to ostracize your mom and make sure it stays that way"
People make mistakes and they can grow from them.
It takes two people to make a baby, you're putting a lot of the onus on the mother and her decision making and absolving the father. Why put the blame on the "mother's fault for having a baby with a man who will leave" and instead try telling men that it's not alright to fuck around if you're not ready to raise a child?

The blame goes to both parties, obviously. What you're trying to do is put all or most of the blame on the man when most of the blame is actually on the woman. It's the woman who decides whether to get pregnant or not. It's the woman who decides to become pregnant before getting married or after marriage to increase the chances of the child having a father who stays. I expect nothing more from whites or blacks that are into rap culture. A woman who has a child with this kind of man is a complete idiot and deserves to be shamed because it was her decisions that resulted in a child not having a father.
