The problem (for leftists) with STEM is that concrete fundamental knowledge goes a long ways. You can't design, build and maintain complex systems with feelings. The world is gonna eat us up in a couple generations (maybe sooner) if this rot continues.

I'm a fan of the group that did the grievance studies hoax papers (Helen Pluckrose, James Lindsay and Peter Boghossian) for a glimpse into the insanity. I don't speak Unhinged Intersectional Academic but they do and they've done a great job translating some of the ridiculousness into language that a science minded person can comprehend.
As a mathematician, this would be somewhat interesting material for a college History and Philosophy of Mathematics course, but in Algebra, you should just learn algebra.
Yes, the material could be interesting, but from what I've gathered from comments the curriculum is intended for a 6/7th grade algebra course. I think they would benefit more in the long run from a strong foundation rather than what he will be offering them.

Majoring in poli sci, I was used to all my field being cucked. I have a family member who majored in statistics who thought that couldn't happen to them and now they're furious at what the left has done to the field lol.
I failed my Statistics class in college because I did a study on prevailing feelings towards the military and the correlation between their field of study...
This was back around 2005 when the current lunacy was hardly even a wet dream in Liberals eyes, but the Social Sciences program I was in was clearly already being run by marxists. No matter - I dropped out and learned a trade and I'm making over 100k anyways..

Had a Linear Algebra class where the professor went from “here’s how we do a change of basis” to “we need more women in STEM” to “Let’s face it guys, we’ve been awful in history”.
Needless to say I dropped and took that class with a different professor.

I had to take a Leisure credit class, so I chose one called Studies in Outdoor Recreation, because I enjoy some outdoor recreation from time to time.
I will never forget: First day, on the first homework assignment, question #1 was:
