Courtesy call? What courtesy call? That one CNN reporter guy who has never broken a story in his life just has amazing Instincts (TM). I mean, he knew to get their like 15 minutes before the raid, even. What great Instincts (TM) he has.
Serious question, do you all think Biden's really going to hold to this? Every single contender he even possibly could pick would a be a disaster. I'm pretty sure he was just pandering and he's going to pick the usual DC insider swamp creature, black woman, white man, who gives a shit. Someone who can be a reliable shadow president, Cheney-style, while he's a potted plant in the basement being watered by his wife.
He’s so knee deep in that commitment, I don’t think he has a choice at this point. And that’s a big “if” he is actually nominated at the DNC convention. The guy is such a loser, I’m 50/50 on thinking they will do a brokered convention. And if that happens, they don’t have to follow Biden’s commitments.
And if they don’t do a brokered convention and actually pick Joe Biden, then they are so retarded, that picking a crap VP isn’t out if the ordinary anyways. They may as well pick that Lori Lightfoot or that Bottoms girl. Cause fuck it.
Regarding Duckworth being eligible, I looked into the actual wording of the Constitution, and it states that to be eligible for POTUS or VPOTUS, the individual must be a "natural born" citizen. So looking into that definition, it connotes that if one of the candidate's parents is born within the USA or its territories, then the child is deemed a "natural born" citizen. Tammy Duckworth's father was born in Maryland. So she would be eligible to be Dementia Joe's VP. Also applying this "natural born" definition, that term permitted Canadian-born Ted Cruz to run for President in 2016, since his mother was born in Delaware. And that would also make the Kenya theory about Pres. Obama moot because his mother was born in Kansas.
Honestly, I would really prefer that any future POTUS and VPOTUS candidate be born with the US states (and not its territories), and thereby nixing this "natural born" term. But this would require a Constutuional Amendment.
Lastly, I think we are wasting our breath to discuss Tammy Duckworth as a Biden running mate. Because If Dementia Joe doesn't pick an Afr-American woman as his running mate, then his campaign is officially toast.
I always thought with Obama it wasn't about where he was born but what religion was on his birth certificate. Hawaii had a field for religion on the birth certificates at the time. If it had Islam as his religion he would either have to renounce Islam to keep his cover as being a christian and have the whole middle east against him or he would have to renounce christianity and come out as a muslim and lose the election.
No, that had nothing to do with it. There may have been a practical impact on his candidacy, but that wouldn't have made a legal difference.
There was some question if he was born in Hawaii or Kenya, and if the latter, had his mother been a citizen long enough for him to be considered a citizen too (she was young).
This is the correct answer. At the time of Obama’s birth, you basically had to be 18 to “transmit” citizenship to your child if the child was born outside the country. You had to reside in the US for x number of years after the age of y to transmit citizenship (I’m too lazy to look up the values of x and y in the INA). His mom was 17 at the time of his birth, which means that if he was born outside the US he would not have been a natural born citizen.
For what it’s worth, I think Obama was born here. But I think he lied his ass off about being born in Kenya (like in his author’s blurb) in order to get scholarships and other benefits.
No, it is not. Its birthright citizenship. If either one of your parents is a citizen of the United States, you are born into your citizenship.
The part that should be removed is the part where anyone born on United States soil is automatically a citizen. 'Anchor babies' are a direct result of that wording. Birthright citizenship is the better of the two options; that way, at least one of your parents would have had to have gone through the process of obtaining citizenship.
I completely agree. So I really hope that President Trump will seek to amend the Constitution by mandating that any future POTUS or VPOTUS candidate needs to be born within the 50 states. And regarding eligibility, I am not a fan of being born in any of the US territories.
John "Brain Tumor not Execution" McCain was born in Panama too. It's pretty interesting how many Presidential candidates were in fact not born in the United States.
I think it should require multiple generations born in America, to citizens of America. One parental side being born here, plus the candidate themselves being born here.
I heard Duckworth wasn’t born in America. Does VP require citizenship?
Meanwhile, a Trump guy forgets what flavor of jam he put on his bagel on this date four years ago -> Pre-dawn raid with full SWAT team then big house
All aired live on CNN
Stakeout of the century! Muh instincts!
Look at him! LOOK AT HIM!
HE EATS HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP!!
Strawberry is always the correct answer to that question
Grape for life!
Homemade black raspberry is best jam.
But I am willing to concede that all jams matter.
Aw hell no! It was raspberry! To gitmo with you, fren!
You forgot about the courtesy call to CNN before the raid

What sort of godless communist puts jam on a bagel? CREAM CHEESE OR DIE!!!
Both is also good. Pepper jelly and cream cheese is out of this world.
Example: Barack Hussein Al-Kenya
That's a lie! Easily disproved by multiple original birth certificates with identical lettering from a, ahem, typewriter.
Yep, we had a kenyan and tranny in office last time. They have no rules.
Yup.
Wait up. Are you saying Big Mike is In? or Out?
Definitely a man.

Michelle Obama is the one pick that makes real sense. Anyone leaning left at all will be on board with her being VP to his senile ass.
I still refuse to believe that someone named Keisha Bottoms is a politician and not a porn star/stripper.
He should pick snatchsquatch.
If that happens, and Biden wins, he'll be dead in less than a month. She will ensure it.
Oh, please, please make this TV series. We haven't had a political TV series so positioned for epic humor since "That's My Bush"...
I wonder if Hulu will show the aftermath of the nuclear war Hillary got us into.
"Oops, I meant to push the RESET button, not the LAUNCH!"
She'll be wearing black face and have a new gangsta name
SO MANY ways to fail! Yay!
If they plan full fraud might as well get Clinton
Well, that seems to be the theme of his candidacy, so...
A nother notch up on the victim totem pole wouldn't hurt either.
A female penis will be A-OK too.
You forgot "evil."
Nothing Else Matters
VP is same qualifications as president.
Didn't stop them from putting Obama in
POWERTHIRST NOW COMES IN GUN
Holy shit does that bring back memories!

No, all the tards were bitching about him not being a "natural born citizen" because something something citizenship laws changed requiring something.

"mandating that any future POTUS or VPOTUS candidate needs to be born within the 50 states"
Because if General Flynn's kid was born in Germany while the General was serving overseas, he shouldn't be eligible?
Thank you for that. I asked the original person I heard it from to please explain, for me am dumb dumb, but I never got a reply.
What about an indian?
Feather not dot?
Which one is Elizabeth Warren this week?

+1 for no anchor babies
