John "Brain Tumor not Execution" McCain was born in Panama too. It's pretty interesting how many Presidential candidates were in fact not born in the United States.

McCain was born on a U.S. military base, which is U.S. soveriegn land. That is why he was a natural born citizen.

I recall that Barry Goldwater was born in 1909 in the geographic area of the Arizona Territory to be known Arizona -- before it became part of the United States in 1912. But that did not preclude him from running for President in 1964.

That’s because it was part of the US. A territory isn’t a state, but it’s still sovereign US land. That’s how someone born in Puerto Rico or Guam is a natural born American citizen

We really need to deport Puerto Rico. Just call it "Rico" from now on.

I remember McCain was also born on a Navy base (US Territory)
