My grandmother (rest her soul) used to send me homemade quince jelly on Thanksgiving/and or Christmas made from her own produce grown in their (yes, both biological natural grandparents) backyard.

All I know is it tastes fantastic. I really wish I had the means to get myself some land and start growing my own garden and eating the good stuff again.
