I tried to bring this up with a lefty friend on facebook through private messaging, trying to get her to see how the media is completely silent on Trump's war on human trafficking, and she came back at me with an article from NY Times that was all about how Trump is only doing it "for political points." The mental gymnastics are astounding.
It's because leftists don't want to learn the truth about anything if it doesn't align with what they want to believe. It's not about truth with them, it's about fantasy that makes them feel good.
