I taught myself at a very early age that everything on TV was bullshit. I guess that's why I'm very lonely in not believing any of this bullshit now.

Me too, player. I honestly think we chose the wise path.

Glosses over (somewhat) dispassionate analysis. The mental ability to step back and think of something 'as an attempt at objectivity' is a learned skill ... that we mostly don't use except precisely in our 'core field'.

Added to my thinking about Bluepilling.

Solid and interesting, thanks!

Key parts for me were the comments about being ostrasized for not quoting pop culture media properly and that the bluepill is used not necesarilly to instill ideals in the drone, but moreso the ideal they look for in a leader, who've they've been shown through film is the proper kind of leader.

A politician then only has to emulate those ideals, not believe or really hold them, in order to gain unlimited power.

I could see that too.

The educational side's insistence on "Argument from Authority" and their own choice of those authorities in there also is so very irritating.

Decent redpilling right there.

"Let's play a game, spot the fallacy!"

  1. Hauls out sheet of paper and a pencil for all contestants.

  2. "Ok, hit play on CNN..."

There can be quibbling over the counting, but mostly it will be "Wait wait, hit pause again!"

How many times can you repeat ad hominem back to back before you're just saying hummina hummina?

My ex of 10 years to a t. She would watch movies and they would give her unrealistic expectations of how our relationship should be. Fairy tale movies. I could never be Prince Charming with a billion dollars in the bank. She couldn’t differentiate real life from Facebook either and never understood no one posts about the bad in their relationships. People only post the good stuff. She spent her nights sharing 100s of those stupid inspirational quotes that often contradicted each other. It was totally fucked up to the point I thought I was living in some other dimension.

I thought I was living in some other dimension.

You were. But now you learned how to travel between them, so thank her for that at least.
