We all need to realize this IS the agenda.. and it’s working.
The goal of marxists etc is to completely polarize every facet of life. You can’t have sports, music, school, even a fn haircut without some lines being drawn in their goal.
I checked out of sports years ago, I could care less. What I DO care about is the unravelling of something others hold dear to themselves and enjoy. People can both be intellectual and also into sports, too. I pretty much got into sports as a way of bonding with my brother and father. I was always into music more. It was something to talk about, look forward to, and much more for me beyond points on a scoreboard.
To your point. I lost interest in one of my favorite bands a few years ago before Trumps victorious election. In the middle of the show they stopped to say it was the most important election blah blah and said you know who to vote for... and instead of leaving it at that.. they shouted HILLARY.. it was sickening to see them polarize half of their fanbase so casually. Fortunately, many of the artists I follow haven’t taken a huge line in the sand with politics. But I do see it with many artists saying if you support Trump than fuck off. It’s disheartening. It’s ok to have opinions, but at some point the lines are blurry if you’re not per se a political band ala rage against the machine types. Just as sports, I don’t go to concerts for politics, I go to get away.
I am worried for the future, but I am hopeful there are more patriots than anyone could ever imagine.
Lol I Agree! Just saying they are overtly political so you know what you’re getting into with them without surprise.
The band I mentioned is called grouplove which is indie/pop glazed in summer good vibes. It’s not a band you’d ever expect to be screaming politics at their fans. It’s unfortunate.
I feel.ya. Vote Republican and pray my brother. I'm praying every day for our country. Sports, music, theatre, the arts, our great heritages, education and history are being systematically attacked. I believe it's a spiritual war.
I’m in complete agreement with you.

Rage against the machine? More like Rage on behalf of the machine.

For the record, I'm not completely shitting on sports. I get it. But I have greater priorities. It's a shame, but I didn't make this mess.
