I disagree. The competitive nature of making dankest memes for more huzzah is supposed to bring out the best in everyone.

The greeks called it an "agonistic" or competitive world view.

Competition makes you better. Want upvotes, be smart! Be funny! Work at it.

The best memes are an employment of many hours thought into a single image - it takes work and ingenuity and people see it and want to thank you and ENCOURAGE you for it.
