Hey all,

So, I dont know where to ask, so I'll start here.

Before the Gillette SJW move, our local Kmart was closing and I got a bunch of mach3 blades for cheap. I'm on my last blade now and I'm looking for a new razor. I'm looking for recommendations from my fellow pedes

Requirements:

  • non-SJW / BLM obviously
  • must remove hair from face

Prefer:

  • made in USA
  • purchase from local stores
  • 1,2 or 3 blades
  • not too expensive
  • if possible, created from concentrated liberal tears

Also needing a shaving cream or soap

Thanks everyone for your recommendations.
I went with the merkur 34c as a temporary razor, with Dorco blades

I may get the MKII or one of the US made razors from wetshavingclub.

I had my first shave yesterday with the new razor, and I gotta say... I really dont understand how those cartridge based razors ever became popular. I have a very course beard and they constantly become stopped up and always pull hairs.

In contrast, this safety razor cleans easily and absolutely no drag or pulling hair. In fact, I didn't think I had a blade in the razor at first. Very close shave and minor irritation (I expected much worse being my first time)
