I could see this happening. Trump has to play this all very carefully. If we go hot with China then India goes hot which means so does Pakistan. That makes 4 nuclear powers at war in the blink of an eye, with likely more to join. I'm sure the entire plan is already laid out and all sides are stepping very carefully.
