They never do this at a new company workplace they started. They have to infect some other company and make it fit their ideals.

Extra does of irony for ya.

Anyone remember that one feminist cafe that decided to charge men extra to represent the wage gap? A few pedes posted about it on here. It went out of business and it perfectly illustrates your point.

Usually because when they actually make an honest effort at trying its an abysmal failure and they end up broke. Far more financially feasible to ruin something someone else created than watch your own work crash and burn because you're a commie idiot

MAGAbetterargument 5 points ago +5 / -0

This is happening at my company, it is insane. But it's really the Boogeyman because useless SJWs keep getting let go and quiet good workers keep moving up despite the all hands pandering and pseudo-obligatory discussions (I don't attend). I think we need critical mass of silent majority to stop being silent to accelerating the inevitable end of this panderdemic. I hope that Goya and Red Bull are cracks in the dam

Maxberg 6 points ago +6 / -0

Lol, my bfs job just made a deal with a conservative college + a SJW had to comment on it .. claiming he wouldn't be welcome at their house (he's white + has black adopted kids)... I'm like sooo conservatives= racists 👍good to know.

My own Job posted about the BLM movement which is annoying.. but to be fair the majority of the people I work with are conservative + I think it's a marketing ploy.. still don't approve.

Disney has destroyed itself. Twitter is crashing down. If they even cared about the money, they'd reverse their policies immediately. They don't care about money. They care about POWER.

23
Zerohunt 23 points ago +23 / -0

Which is fleeting when there is no money to back it up. Didney is going to be Deadney in a few years (after they sale a lot of their unused assets.)

When stock brokers realize Twitter is just a stock begger business, they will bail too.

Disney is going down in flames. Those parks being closed, no entertainment production, they are hemorrhaging cash. They believed this insanity would be over in less than a month and now the rumor is that the parks won’t reopen until 2021. I know Orlando opened, but barely and Hong Kong had to close after reopening. They went from billions to crumbs overnight. Disney+ alone cannot float a company that big.

10
deleted 10 points ago +10 / -0
9
JeremiahKassin 9 points ago +9 / -0

Nobody's going to the parks, either. I was a passholder before all this went down, because I'm a local and for us it's dirt cheap. Fortunately, they gave us the option of canceling, since enough people called in demanding they change their policies since they're a violation of the contract we signed. For most people, though, it's a once-in-a-lifetime trip. Now, they're going to have to pay more than ever to be shuffled around like they're in a prison camp while wearing a stifling mask around in the Florida heat. Anyone who puts their kids through that is a monster. All the passholders in the groups I joined to keep up with the goings on in the parks are raving about how great it is that there's no lines, even in the middle of summer. It's like the implication doesn't even bother them.

Rumor has it Lucas Arts has come up with a plausible in-universe way for the star wars sequel trilogy to be non-cannon. I don't think they're planing on re-doing the sequel trilogy.... just pretending it never happened, and moving on.

2
MaxineWaters4Prez 2 points ago +2 / -0

Just shoot the lame horse and bury it respectfully by the barn.

1
RONIN808 1 point ago +1 / -0

Rumor is when Disney asked George Lucas what it would take to get him back running Lucasfilm his response was:

1. I get to make MY sequel trilogy 2. Kathleen Kennedy is GONE. 3. Disney may never ever touch the original trilogy EVER. 4. None of this is negotiable.

and disneys response was supposedly "OK great when do you start?"

Not holding my breath but there is a chance.....

2
powershellder 2 points ago +2 / -0

Doesn’t matter to me.

They had a chance to make a good movie and instead they chose to insult their fans.

They won’t get a single penny from me again.

JeremiahKassin 12 points ago +12 / -0

It's not a question of whether they'll continue to make money. It's a question of whether they'll take in enough to remain operational. Ticket prices at the parks are already through the roof, and they were already slashing entertainment there to save money. There are no new movies right now. They need to maintain $12-13 BILLION dollars just to break even. They probably won't see half of that this year. Even for a company as big as Disney, that's unsustainable.

They won't fail, but they're going to have to sell off some major properties. Maybe even hand the keys to some of the parks to different entities, along the lines of DisneySea.

A titan is about to fall.

AllAmericanAdonis 7 points ago +7 / -0

Didn't they have to close all their parks for MONTHS due to the Chinese virus too? On top of that they just spent a huge sum making new starwars lands at both parks but nobody likes starwars anymore because they pozzed it with SJW-isms. So starwars which they paid a huge sum for was already forever ruined before the whole Chinese virus shutdown.

4
residue69 4 points ago +4 / -0

They're counting on China to keep them afloat.

3
thetenman 3 points ago +3 / -0

That is why the FED now buys corporate bonds. If a company like Disney needs money the FED will print it, Disney will print some bonds and they trade. They are not going to go out of business. That does not mean they can not be taught a lesson.

Think its more the case the CEO's have been promised seats at the table of a socialist America. Rather than Chinese slave labor.

Because I can tell you in a socialist America no one will be buying $800+ plus smartphones anymore. Because not many people in China can afford it.

A socialist America will be the end of the consumer era.

9
sleepinggiant 9 points ago +9 / -0

That's actually the goal. Their fucked up ideology is to deindustrialize the world. The reason is that is so fucked up is because we've used up the easy to get to resources. If the world enters a technological dark age we will never advance this far again. These fucks are world destroying nihilists.

8
WishdoctorsSong 8 points ago +8 / -0

This truly is the scary thing. When you study the evolution of industry, it's been this back and forth between easily accessible resources (oil just sitting on top of sand in the desert, iron ore in river beds) driving technology which then enables getting at harder to access resources which drives more industry and so on.

If we had to reboot civilization, it would take geologic time, not biologic time, since all of the easy to access resources that our ancestors used to bootstrap civilization have been depleted.

4
localhost 4 points ago +4 / -0

will be the end of the consumer era.

I hate consoomer culture, so yes please. Reject modernity. Embrace tradition.

4
DividesByZero 4 points ago +4 / -0

There's something to modernity.

Advanced metallurgy. Smokeless gun powder. HVAC. Refrigeration. Internal Combustion. Advanced farming technique. Modern medicine.

There's a pretty bold line between, "I need this new $1200 phone because it's 1.2% faster than last year's $1200 phone!" and preserving food or having inexpensive, reliable, and highly effective firearms that are easy to make and obtain. Also, aspirin. I would miss aspirin a lot.

If you’re drinking the full sugar version of energy drinks regularly, you’re going to end up with some major health issues within a year. Those things BOMB your entire system.

I like sugar free energy drinks but have to quit aside from a treat here and there. I can really feel my body crash later in the day and even the next morning I’m groggy bc I didn’t sleep well.

Be careful pedes

2
righttowolfarms 2 points ago +2 / -0

Redbull doing this is fucking massive. Redbull is a MASSIVE sponsor for sports all over the world. Some people would not be able to even compete in certain sports without their help.

That every sport from a person running down a track to a multimillion-dollar race team.

Them pushing back on SJW will scare the shit out of a lot of people in certain sports going full retard socialist.

Unless they cave which is something not to be discounted in today's world.

6
Inocentz 6 points ago +6 / -0

Companies shouldn't underestimate the long memory of the offended consumer. I haven't bought a Gillette product since "toxic masculinity" and I never will.

9
sleepinggiant 9 points ago +9 / -0

Dude there's soooo much I haven't bought

Apple Products

Nike Products

Proctor & Gamble Products

Videogames

Legos

Bluray/Movie Tickets

Disney Products

Only staples because local stores require masks

Nothing from Amazon

movies on demand

No sports packages

Huge number of virtue signalling stores I don't go in

Craziest thing I realized is how much money I spend on worthless shit. My portfolio is growing by leaps and bounds and all I'm really missing is a bunch of shit I'm bored with an hour later. I'll never go back to buying that shit or wasting my time on it

3
AllAmericanAdonis 3 points ago +3 / -0

Nike pretty much markets and makes products exclusively for black people now, and I'm white so I prefer the brands of Under Armour and New Balance 993's which are expensive but made in the USA and last for like 5-6 years. I don't feel Nike represents me and if you look around it seems a lot of whites feel the same way.

5
seaside_dreams 5 points ago +5 / -0

True. My husband was so angry. He doesn't even need Gillette. A beard man.

He dropped other products

1
AllAmericanAdonis 1 point ago +1 / -0

Look up dorco razors on Amazon or better yet try a safety razor they are wayyyyy cheaper then disposable heads which are a scam on par with inkjet ink.

13
WEWLADSDALWEW 13 points ago +13 / -0

If what comes of all of this is that companies go back to keeping their politics (liberal or conservative) to themselves and just selling their products, it may all have been worth it. Imagine, buying a chicken sandwich and getting just a chicken sandwich. What will they think of next?

8
Bandana_Jones 8 points ago +8 / -0

Dieter Mateschitz, the Boss and Inventor of Red Bull is a hard-ass Austrian (Mountain-Country, NOT Sydney-Land) conservative. I don't think he will suddenly break. Even under pressure. He also has a Formula One Team

Yep, they are pandering to the very Hoard that will rip them apart the first time they feel scorned by MLB. But they know the demographic they need to survive and the BLM movement isn’t it.

5
South_Florida_Guy 5 points ago +5 / -0

I shouldn't even know what a product's parent company's politics or views on "social justice" are; I should only know whether or not the product is good and if I like it enough to give them money for it or not or if a stockholder of that company, what they are doing to ensure that they turn a healthy profit to make me more money. This incessant need to pander to every communist/leftwing cause accomplishes neither and only adds them to my DO NOT PATRONIZE list.

4
Arwyn3x 4 points ago +4 / -0

It is working people who use red bull, and working people do not like BLM, SJW, or Marxist trying to take a free ride on their backs.

4
Monza 4 points ago +4 / -0

If y'all wanna support the company but don't drink energy drinks, they have multiple sports teams as well, including the successful F1 team Red Bull Racing-Honda, you can buy their merch. Most F1 drivers have idiotically started kneeling before the race, but RB's star driver doesn't do this.

2

3
wideawake 3 points ago +3 / -0

I work at one of those companies, and let me assure you that they do not care about their bottom line. In fact my company signed some kind of stupid fucking proclamation along with many other radically liberal companies/social media/Apple/MS etc. stating going forward they would be more concerned with SJW bullshit versus the product, and bottom line. I wish I was joking. I work for a major global corporation that every single person on the planet knows the name of and they have gone full tilt radical liberal SJW, anti-white culture since the china virus and BLM. I can’t believe there haven’t been massive class action lawsuits against what’s happening in corporate culture, frankly. They are literally telling us in the video, staff calls, emails, etc. that whites are all inherently racist, even if we don’t think we’re racist we are racist, and everything we’ve worked for in our lives has been given to us through white privilege. They also stated that they were illegally start only hiring people of color and LGBT. I believe their exact words were we will only be looking at diverse candidates going forward. This is ILLEGAL!! Again… I wish I was joking... I even reached out to the ACLJ but they said that they could not help me...

3
incogneato 3 points ago +3 / -0

I can believe this. There's only one thing that trumps money (sorry) for some people:

Power.

My own thought is that many of these huge corporations have been sucking up to China and other corrupt nations for a long time now - certainly during the admins of the Clintons, Bushes, and Obamas.

Now all these corporations are sitting and waiting for the reward they were supposed to get in the coming decades, which is some kind of favored status when the socialists fully take over in this country. That's why so many of these corporate entities - companies, sports franchises, etc. - hate Trump the way they do.

Because he raided the game and ruined their sweet commie deal.

This explains why they would do things that lose them big money - studios making shit movies (because they're really making them for China,) major sports teams taking huge dumps on their fans (because, again, they ain't playing for the USA any longer.)

Hell, these people ruined Star Wars and threw the NFL into the garbage. There was a reason for this and it's not "stupidity."

It was to please their new masters, who ain't us any longer.

2
thetenman 2 points ago +2 / -0

It is not expressly illegal. Whites are not protected by any Federal Civil Rights law. Different states have different laws but there is no federal civil rights protection for White people. Companies are allowed to discriminate against White people. A class action lawsuit would fail.

Glad to hear about Red Bull and Goya.

My friends and I were just talking about all the other companies bowing down. The leaders of those other companies are making truly bad decisions to “appease” a non-customer. These same people think the 2% of people who actually Tweet are a representative of the truth of the situation or public opinion. Although the bottom-line numbers don’t reflect success when the decisions are made, they continue to double down. It’s insanity from a business perspective.

Years from now, colleges will hopefully use these bowing to the vocal minority as a case study of what not to do.
