You don't need sports in your life. Been sports free (watching it) for 8+ years. I was at one time a mad sports fan even to the point of watching sports from other countries. Going to motorsports events.

I do none of that now. It's impossible to completely avoid it as its full-on politics so you will hear about it on the radio or the usual talk at work.
