The commissioner of the NHL is a legendary dumbass who has inexplicably held the job for decades. It would surprise no one if he and the league office cucked out but I doubt very many players would jump on the bandwagon. The NHL is mostly Canadian farm boys and Russian immigrants. Neither seems like a group that would be 'down for the struggle'.

I do have to admit that I haven't heard anything stupid from Bettman on this subject yet, so maybe he deserves more credit than I just gave him.
