Five years ago this group of friends had some Independents, Liberals, and a few Conservatives. As of today, this group of friends was completely red pilled. They were calling what is happening in our country a communist takeover, and we spent the night talking about how Communist are just as bad as Nazis, with many agreeing that Communist are more dangerous. They were all on board the Trump train even though I know not all voted for Trump in 2016. I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

Some people who were on the fence for President Trump because they didn't know what to expect are now on the Trump train. Regardless of the non-stop MSM fake news propaganda, people are starting to wake up. We all need to keep red-pilling everyone so they understand we're literally voting for the future of our Country and children.
Yeh, I have always said this. Meeting up with this group was like a TheDonald.win meet up, it was crazy. We all agreed that polls were way off because no one admits they will vote for Trump because you are intimidated if you admit it and they will go after your livelihood. One who was previously an petson who didn't like guns reversed course and was desperately trying to buy a gun. Myself and the long time conservative that was there said we would be able to help him out with a future legal transfer.
The attitude toward guns has changed dramatically for many IMO. Watching the riots and police doing nothing made people realize they are responsible for the own safety and can't depend upon law enforcement.
I am much older than most here, never owned a gun and my wife and I applied for the permit and have been waiting over two months for or fingerprint appointment because they are so booked. Our daughter and SIL both applied for their first permits. My SIL's father, my age applied for the first time ever. Two family members the same, never owned before.
I tend to believe the 40% Black job approval and I think this election could very well be far different than poll data implies.

Amazingly, it's not. CA has a mandatory Firearms Safety Certificate test (good for 2 years I think), DROS background check for all guns in the transaction, and 10 day wait, but no permit required to purchase as long as you meet age requirements.
I believe 14 states now require pistol permits and 6 require long gun permits.

Im working on a friend who is now my dentist/owns his own practice. He is very smart but spent too much time in school so his politics are fucked. We still hang out here and there and all I do is red pill. The fact he is still willing to hang out with a raging maga man means he can be awakened. Other peers I knew have no chance because they are so far gone.
Ask him what he thinks about what is going on the PNW. Show him the video of Ted Wheeler running cover for violent extremists while he is calling the protestrs peaceful as you can clearly see them assaulting and attempting to burn down a federal building in the background. Ask him how he feels about Communist openly running around with Hammer and Sickle emblems painted on their helmets and shields. Tell him you saw Nazis doing this you would be disgusted and wouldn't want them stopped at all costs, and then ask him why he doesn't feel the same way about an ideology that is just as dangerous taking over entire cities and why Democrats are actively encouraging them.

This sort of thing would not happen where I live. I just had a discussion with my next door neighbor last night and discovered that he has TDS. I found out that he is a pro-Big-Tech corporatist, neocon advocate for military interventionism, and is totally fine with having all of our pharmaceuticals and medical equipment manufactured in China because it would cost too much to pay Americans to make that stuff. Even though China abuses human rights, squashes free speech, pollutes the planet, and disregards intellectual property rights. This is a guy who thinks he is a liberal.

I don't know if he is being an idiot as much as he is abandoning all of his principles just because orange man bad. He is okay with all of the terrible things China is doing because they do it cheaper. I also just had the shock of my life. My mother and three sister and their families. All a bunch of liberals in Portland Maine. All voted Democrat for years, disowned me for my views. My sister called and we talked for like 3 hours as she explained the process of how my nephew who has always stayed in touch with me and my kids repilled them all. Wayfair was the final straw. After they all agreed that trump needs to win he told them he leaned it all from me.

I had a couple that faded away as the years went on. It was almost like the rest of us grew up and they didn't.
One's life is a disaster. He got married to a "strong Feminist" and his marriage ended in shambles. He's kind of drifted from job to job since then.
I tried to convert him when we were in our early 20's. I tried to convince him that the best kind of woman to have was one that was actually attracted to men who did manly things and acted like men.
But, he went the soyboy route and he continues to pay the price. Now he's single, pushing 50, with a special needs child. Not exactly marrying material.
I'm sure somehow he blames his divorce on Trump.
I waited and found a good conservative girl. Didn't marry early, made sure she was solid before I committed. She was red-pilled before I got to her and I was lucky she was still available.

In my opinion there are a decent amount of people from ages 27-40 that are getting pretty redpilled during all of this.
Many people in the younger brackets though, sheesh. It scares the fuck out of me to be honest. I see what kids 20-25 from my conservative hometown post and it's not pretty. Younger generation is brainwashed as fuck.
Most of this happens in college. I teach high school classes at a college preparatory school with a population that leans ~ 80% conservative. These kids then leave for college, and within 1-2 years they have lost their minds and are raging liberals offended about everything. It is mind boggling to see how quickly they turn.

Gun shops are filled, ammo is constantly sold out, gun classes are packed. So something is changing in the culture, but not sure it translates to being Trump friendly this year.
My 28 yr old nephew in ca voted for Obama. Thought he was the greatest. Now is a big trump supporter and republican mainly because of gun laws. He’s even thinking of running for office in laguna beach.

Well, I don't think it can be argued that some of the things weren't good, it is just hard to get over that little part regarding a desire for world domination and the systematic genocide carried out on people deemed undesirables. They are both terrible, but yes Communism has killed more.

Some of my old friends are red pilled, or they always were. Most of them are BLM supporters without even fully understanding their movement. I'm one of few firearm owners in my circle of friends. shrugs
