The headings of that picture made me think of political discussion for some reason:

Ideal Discourse: "These economic numbers were surely swayed by congress' recent legislation." "Well I think that had little to do with it; look at the harvest numbers following that hurricane that wiped out a lot of the orange crops."

Modern Discourse: "EVERYONE WHO DISAGREES WITH ME IS HITLER AND SHOULD BE PUNCHED REEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!"
