What are your motives for being on this site. You’re more than welcome to share your opinions but why would you want to be somewhere just to disagree with somebody in every comment.
We are supposed to be beacons of truth and facts. To act as if our President wasn’t given multiple financial gifts in order to 1) start businesses and 2) keep them afloat when they were failing, is simply not factual. My motive is to call it like I see it, rooted in fact.
Plus, it could do some good in educating some Pedes who may not know certain things. So I feel my presence has multiple purposes, spreading truth and educating.
My parents gave me some gifts too. They paid insurance for my first car. They got me a few savings bonds when I was little.
And of course, not all gifts have to be monetary.
So, do the gifts MY parents gave me invalidate or cheapen any accomplishments I've had in my life? Or, since my parents gave me.. anything, does that mean I am completely worthless?

I don’t remember saying anything negative towards you at all. I also have no issue with loans, obviously. Being poor should be uncomfortable, else no one will ever try to be anything but.
Being poor should be uncomfortable, else no one will ever try to be anything but.
True but at the same time there are forces within the system that incentivize poverty. Biggest example is Welfare. I know people that live in the "projects" that get inspected once in awhile by social workers to make sure there's no father in the house because if there was, that would be a violation. Also, having a fatherless child also renews your welfare.
Keep in mind he is pro UBI due to the imminent technological supremacy that will cause a MASSIVE reduction in human labor. Eventually the output of goods and services will be extraordinarily high, and giving UBI will be a way to have a more equitable allocation of wealth. Or else you will have the likes of Bezos with massive robot labor and we will head down corporate feudalism, which is not exactly ideal in preserving culture and freedoms.
I love seeing those turboliberals driving around in one. It must just trigger them so badly, but you know, its costs more then they are paying their Mom for rent, so they can't just sell it!
I don't trust Musk farther than I can throw him, however he's trying to stop the Zuckerberg type assholes from creating Skynet and that i'm definitely in favor of.
I was thinking, given the stainless steel body, how it would be nice to weld some attach points for a pack-rack and some other gear to the outside (convenient attach points of add-on armor as well)
Seriously I'm so glad my brain brought me to this team instead of some fag professor talking about trans gender minority dance equity or some other critical theory bullshit and blaming all of my problems on others.
Donald meeting with the Mexican President in 2015 won me over and that serves as a baseline perspective for me of his Art of the Deal. I think of it whenever I don't grasp his angle completely, like his recent urging us to wear masks.
I work for the Contractors State License Board in California. Was on the phone with Elon's secretary. He was removing himself from their CA license. Looks like he is giving up on this communist shithole.
That’s a pretty clear sign. I’m in the Austin area so this new plant will probably be down the road. I wonder if the cucks in Sacramento will do anything responsible to get him to stay?
No, they will double down on him and attempt to TAX him for leaving. It's coming. I think a lot of home owners who sell to leave are going to get a tax bill follow them to their new out fo state residence.
I have been really digging into Elon Musk and I wouldn’t say that he’s based, but he doesn’t intentionally talk shit about the President. Even when invited or almost forced to do so.
He’s a smart guy who understands the needs for deregulation, but also certain regulations. Sure, he borrowed tons of money from the US government, but he also paid it all back with interest.
And if you look at everything he is doing right now, it almost seems like he’s the only truly innovative person in America or even the world.
He’s really inspired me. My wife said I might like him more than I like Trump, but I told her that would never happen. I love my President.
Even NASA cucked out on explaining why the Boeing craft failed to reach the ISS. They had hardware and software problems IN ADDITION TO not setting a fucking clock in the spacecraft to the right time.
NASA's investigation blamed themselves because they devoted too much of their personnel auditing and micromanaging SpaceX. Because Boeing was the "trusted" company, they were given 4X the money and free reign to operate as they saw fit, thus their craft failed...
Liberal logic: You didn't handhold me. You gave me too much money and freedom, so you didn't catch my mistakes. If's your fault I failed.
Look at the R&D his other ventures are doing with advanced neural interfaces (early applications will be prosthetics, try cybernetic ones) and even the Boring Company.
The guy has a bit of a midas touch when it comes to choosing where to apply his efforts. I find him very inspiring and entertaining, and thats a rare combo to pull off.
I have been really digging into Elon Musk and I wouldn’t say that he’s based, but he doesn’t intentionally talk shit about the President. Even when invited or almost forced to do so.
He’s 100% about his business. And he’s been successful at it… winning is a process of decisions.
I would go further than that and say that he is 100% about the goal of his businesses. Which is the spread the use of electric cars and colonize Mars. I’m no tree hugger, more of a tech person, but I can see a Model Y in my future very soon.
On top of that, things like Starlink are going to change the Internet service providing world. I can’t wait to tell my cable provider to kiss my ass.
Not really. I mean people want to go to Mars but there is really no real reason to other than being the first.
The minerals are all on easy to get to asteroids. Its damn hard to get to mars and land let alone return witch is 100 times harder. Why deal with that when you can just mine a rock already in space? They never will.
As for living on another planet you can forget about that too. The surface of mars is hard to land on because of the atmosphere but offers none of the benefits atmospheres should. The radiation is the same as being in deep space pretty much and the gravity isn't much more that the moon. Way to low to live on permanently.
Were gonna live inside giant rotating cylinders if we ever live anywhere else but earth. Only way to simulate Earth. They can even build them on the moon which does make sense to live on since its so close to earth and you can catapult back/ actually mine.
I think his goal with space colonization is more in line with jump starting the centuries long process of terraforming planets like mars, Venus etc and colonizing space.
There certainly is a long term need for it in my mind. It won’t be completed in any of our life times but the start is just getting there.
There will be no terraforming. It takes too long and too much energy. Its easier to do much greater works in way less time. Venus we would have to remove most of the atmosphere and somehow cool it way down. Mars will never have a magnetic field required to keep an atmosphere from blowing away and to keep you safe from radiation and will never be a good place to live or harvest for resources.
Yea, as of today this is true. It’s a process that will take centuries. We already have theoretical formulations in chemistry and materials science to terraform The Venetian or Martian atmosphere. The biggest issue is getting the technology scaled up and transporting it there in a large enough scale.
With centuries of time and advancement in automation and space travel, I do think we can terraform a planet. It’s really the only viable option for a long term, self sustaining ecosystem other than earth. We may have to solve the terraforming problem to save earth it self in light of some future hypothetical calamity, anyways.
Even though Venus’ atmosphere is some 90 times as dense as earths, it is still the more viable candidate for long term, self sustaining habitation if terraformed, IMO. It has nearly the same gravity as earth as well as an active core. Everyone is fixated on Mars right now, and as a base or short term solution, it is viable, but the effects of low gravity on life would be great in the long term, and life may not exist as we know it, or at all there.. A fully manifested atmosphere would take millions of years to strip away by solar winds, even with no magnetosphere, and there are artificial solutions, as well. Again, the biggest issue is scaling up and getting the equipment there.
Given centuries of time and advancement though, I do believe we will see terraforming of one or both in the next several hundred years or millennia.
No one knows for sure though, and anyone saying anything with certainty is just being short sighted.
Tesla is a little different since it’s a public company. The reason SpaceX isn’t public is because his goal is to colonize Mars. Starlink is going to exist purely for funding Mars missions. SpaceX won’t go public until Musk is long gone.
It’s okay to be skeptical. But if you think about it, the main goal of Musk is to colonize Mars and the main way he is going to pay for that is through Starlink. This man made rockets that can land upright, I’m confident he can make and ISP. It’s going to be a very cool future we live in.
What I am waiting for. Been getting fucked by the telecom companies for to many years, govt has given them so much free money and they still fuck the consumer. Overcharged if you live in the city, fucked with some crap 5Mbps trash if you don't.
Maybe Elon isn't exactly on the same wavelength with GEOTUS in terms of politics, but I'm pretty sure Elon and Trump hold massive respect for each other. Both are pioneers in their own respective fields, both are visionaries, both plan long term ambitions and GET STUFF DONE! They are truly similar in those aspects.
he's the fucking GOAT. Truly the only billionaire that's using his wealth to build a better future and progressing our great civilization. God forbid the Chinese reach mars first. imagining the CCP flag on the planet is disgusting
Not anymore. They were initially given a multi-billion dollar loan by the Us government, but they paid it back with interest. Trust me, I used to be against Elon and talk about the subsidies, but the more I learn about him, the more I see that he is truly the only explorer alive today.
And he sees the importance of the American spirit in what he is doing. He understands what it’s like to be an American, which is important.
It’s true, that electric vehicle purchases are still given tax incentives, which can be seen as subsidies, but Tesla is making moves to make their cars even cheaper and cheaper.
They just released the Model Y and already dropped the price by $3k for basically no reason. And in September they’re announcing new battery technology that will make their cars cheaper and more efficient. They’re either going to double the mileage capacity of Tesla’s or cut the battery size in half while keeping the same mileage. September is going to be a very cool time for electric cars.
They are, and not just Elon. They are rapidly losing the hearts and minds of flyover country as well. Even lifelong working stiff Democrats who never thought too much about politics, just that the union or their parents told them to vote Dem.
They have probably the worst homeless problem in all of Texas. Once these tax dollars roll in, you’ll see homeless walking around in Lululemon shorts “because they deserve to enjoy the same luxuries that we do”
Can confirm. I live in a nice central neighborhood and i’ve seen vagrants sleeping on the street in the middle of the day just a few blocks from my house.
Given land costs in the Austin metro it's almost certainly going to be adjacent to Austin's limits. Would be silly to pony up on the premiums for development inside the boundaries just to say you're there. Build in one of the adjacent towns and become the heavyweight in local government.
hahaha I like your way of thinking! Now if we can just get the MyPillow guy to build nearby the NPCs will quiver in fear of the fascism spreading throughout their utopia. #DrumpfsAmerika
Can confirm... plenty of lefties wearing big oil nomex pushing union represented employees to vote blue... because having a very lucrative job in a refinery is just inconvenient or something. Oh, and ‘our’ candidate will help us seamlessly transition from fossil fuel to clean energy. 🤣🤣🤣. My ass.
I live in Austin. Me and my wife were about to move because of how shitty the people here have become and the infestation of out of state libs dragging the policy they ran from here to Texas. I might have to stay now and apply for a job! Ill just move out the city limits.
After seeing what's been happening in NYC, Atlanta, Portland, Seattle, Chicago, I never want to live in a dem-run city and NEVER want to own property in one. I live in a deep red rural area and feel so safe. Even if I got a job in a big city I'd definitely live outside the limits and ideally in a red county.
because Austin doesn't get floods and hurricanes 3x a year and Dalll
as is truly cucked. I think San Antonio would have been get but their mayor wants San Antonio to die
Why does it have to be one of the major three cities though? I understand that's where the initial labor force would come from, but there are plenty of medium sized towns in Texas that could grow to accommodate a new plant and people could commute for the short term. Ex: Midland/Odessa has a population of 176,000 and is within driving range of probably several thousand more rural ranchers whose children and family members might need jobs.
This is the problem with manufacturing nowadays. It used to be that companies would situate factories in new, budding regions to spur growth. Now they just plop them down in the middle of a city and force anyone who wants a decent job to move to these cancerous cities.
and then those towns end up becoming cities? There's towns in TN with 5 Walmarts and more drive thrus than farms.
Cities aren't bad, the Democrats make them bad. Imagine a Houston led Trump style with America first people in all sectors. That Houston would be a beacon of hope for the country
Please, please PUUULEEEEEZZEEEE hire Texans and not import the hundreds if not thousands of fucktard californian employees in to Texas and fuck us up more than the previous ones already have. Thanks.
I'm in the suburbs here in a different Texas city, and all our neighborhood communities on Facebook and Nextdoor are inundated with vocal liberals from California. It was not this way even five years ago. This used to be one of the most conservative areas of the US.
Um who lied to you? Keep Austin Weird has been going on for way longer than 5 years. It's gotten much worse in that time but you're insane if you think Austin wasn't a liberal shithole before then.
The rolling chassis might be, but we need battery production here. The 18650 cells they use are all Asian sourced Panasonic. It looks like they are starting to get into the 21700 range at the gigafactory 1in Nevada though. They probably won't sell them for bikes, vapes, flashlights though which is a pity. The battery market would be huge if anyone with some big $ started up some competition.
I have been reading rumors that something better than batteries will be powering the next generation of Tesla cars. If it's true, I'd expect a major shakeup.
2nd best part of this tweet: "Elon Musk @elonmusk @realDonaldTrump and @Tesla Thank you on behalf of the Tesla team. We look forward to building Giga Texas!"
I wish he would of been thinking about building in Wisconsin, but I'm not surprised since this feckless anti business cunt got elected. Fuck you Evers you are the reason we can't have nice things anymore.
It is kinda a shame I don't want an Electric Car - because I like Elon Musk.
Gasoline cars are a solution to the electric problems. Electric cars existed first but it was soon realized they had many problems. Slow recharge times. Converting kinetic energy to electric and back to kinetic. The inability of the grid to handle widescale recharging use. The lack of freedom in travel due to the limited range and dependency on nice weather.
The ICE engine is a marvel of technology - incredibly complex but still made reliable. Its like having a power plant in every vehicle in terms of complexity.
Electric cars are actually a step backwards. But man the guy made it work. I give him props for that. He is very smart guy. Unlike some other CEOs and such he is also a free thinker and can see things like the importance of native born children for a country or the value in unity.
I didn’t want an electric car when I got my Model 3 almost 2 years ago. But I wanted a car with the most autonomous features and at the time, Tesla was the only game in town.
First of all, it sounds like the future. When you floor it, you hear the high pitched whine of the motors which almost sound like you’re in a spaceship spinning up its hyperdrive engine. That’s immediately followed by the whoosh of the wind as the instant torque pushes you back in your seat as if you just went into hyperspace. Silly maybe but it really just sounds and feels futuristic.
As for charging and range, I thought it would be worrisome but it really isn’t. I have a 240 V dryer outlet in my garage and with that, I can drive 300 miles a day, plug the car in when I get home for the night and have a full charge by the time I wake up. Sure it takes hours to charge from home but because it’s happening while you’re sleeping, you don’t really notice it. Imagine waking up with a full tank every day with your own private gas pump. That’s basically what’s it like but simpler.
Now on a road trip it’s certainly not as convenient as an ICE but there are Tesla superchargers all over the place for fast charging. Admittedly your road trips will be longer when factoring in the time to charge on the way but if you plan your meals and breaks around charging sessions, it’s not so bad.
So yes there are some sacrifices to be made when driving an EV and I wouldn’t recommend one if you don’t have your own means to charge at home but the pros far outweigh the cons at least for my situation. I foresee a day when the idea of having a gas powered car will seem as needlessly complicated as having a gas powered anything in the home like this commercial portrays.
EDIT: And for the record, I’m not rah rah environment guy. I understand the need to burn fossil fuels to create the electricity we use. I’d just rather those fossil fuels weren’t burning in my garage just feet from the inside of my house.
I'm ordering a Model Y in the next couple of weeks after my refinance closes. I'll send you a message if you want to share your referral code for some Supercharger miles.
Trying to respond to your PM but it's not going through for some reason. Messaged the moderators to try to fix it but yes I'd love to share my referral.
Apparently, I can’t reply to your PMs because I haven’t posted enough. I’d give you the code here but it’s got part of my name in it and I’d hate for some psycho to figure out my identity and get me fired. If you wouldn’t mind, send me an email at [email protected] and I’ll reply with the code. Or just PM me your email and I’ll email it to you. But if that’s too much trouble don’t worry about it ‘Pede. And enjoy your Y!
Lol the reebots are saying "Trump didn't make that happen, Elon just chose to move there" as if they know how or why Elon moved. Then Elon was like its an honor.
I don't think there is any public info here. It is probably safe to assume the promise was to not outsource the building of cars sold in the USA like other auto manufacturers.
Made In Texas. The Big Three will declare them foreign cars and key them in parking lots when they see them.
Ask any Big Three retiree about foreign car owners... they see red and start clenching their fists.
The UAW used to buy Toyotas and Hondas, then haul them down city streets on flat beds, handing out hammers and bats for Metro Detroit to bash them to pieces, while whooping and hollering about it is what they will do to any neighbors cars with foreign name plates.
Uh oh! The Dems are gonna pounce on that “He kept his word to me” bit. They don’t like people doing that and they already don’t like Elon Musk because he’s not one of them.
Fremont, CA can fucken pound sand and welcome in more of their Indian, Paki and Afghan America-hating, new democrat “voters” and welfare leeches. Loser CA loses more jobs. DUMBASSES.
Tesla literally saved thousands of blue-collar union jobs back in 2010-11 after GM and Toyota abandoned the NUMMI plant in Fremont, CA back in 2009...now COMMIEFORNIA is driving away capitalism and jobs AGAIN.
Elon Musk is a great example of how you can be a borderline sociopath and still have a moral compass. Wild. Anyway - now we just hope Texas gets its own shit together and lives up to its All-American reputation.
Most of Texas is Red. Shockingly, that plant is being built in a non-manufacturing area (Austin) instead of Fort Worth where there are other auto plants. Very odd.
"He kept his word to me." This is an important concept to a man who established his career on handshake deals. Keeping one's word is an alien concept to the political elites of Washington DC.

My dad told me that when I was a kid and to me is still true to this day. No one likes the truth, but when a lie is found out it destroys more than what it built.
And the media spins it as “ Trump demands blind loyalty”, when it’s really “Trump hates duplicitous pieces of shit”.
It is
Making and keeping commitments is the ballgame.
Trust is the glue that holds relationships
It really is.

Yep thats whats so crazy about our government. People like AOC who have zero experience doing anything productive are making the important decisions.
Yeah -- but she delivered a white Russian instead and charged you triple for her mistake
Since we are getting rid of Aunt Jemima, Uncle Ben, Trader Jose's, etc, shouldn't we get rid of all these racist drink names!?
Bartender - what'll it be, pal?
Me, being all diverse and socially woke about offending people - Gimme a Racist Commie.
Ummm, white Russian mistake?!
Black-russian Libations Matter, bigot1!1!!
And then she stole everyone’s tips.
Anti-Trumpers think he did absolutely nothing to make those billions and that his father and his subordinates did all the work while he just sat around all day.
Maybe that is how some people came to live in luxury, but absolutely not this man.
They get upset when you point out that Fred Trump was never a billionaire and died over a decade after Donald became one.
REEEEEEEE Billionaires were not common back then LOL Ok keep telling yourself that!
If they weren't, that just makes the President more impressive for becoming one in the 80s.
And when you ask them,"So if he turned a few million into a few Billion .... did you turn your few Thousand into a few Million? Why not?"
They always have to make excuses for why others succeed while they remain miserable failures.
Exactly, maybe he got a loan yes but he made a million into an empire. That's impressive and let's be honest the majority of people will just waste that million by buying dumb stuff

Didn't even know unalienable was a word. Inalienable sounds much more sensible.
I agree, to my ears it just sounds more natural.
"Jefferson's original draft of this phrase in the Declaration of Independence was written: "We hold these truths to be sacred and undeniable; that all men are created equal and independent, that from that equal creation they derive rights inherent and inalienable, among which are the preservation of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Now find the original.
Ooooo this is gonna rustle the jimmies of all the anti-Elon lefties.
I love how for years Reddit couldn't stop sucking Elon's dick. Then he said he was against lockdowns, and now they hate him almost as much as Trump.
They're so fickle. Also, brain-fucking-dead.
They’re fickle because they don’t have any actual values or opinions. Everything is a received opinion based on whatever mainstream media happens to be spewing at a given moment.
Parents basement just to clarify
Troglodytes on Gollums asshole to be precise.
Basement Leftists Matter, Hitler.
You know what sucks about fighting in a basement? Fighting in a fucking basement. Im down for it though. Commies need to go.
That line of thinking triggers the fuck out of me. These worthless leftists couldn't turn $2 into $3, but they bash people who turn a million into a billion. Fuck 'em all.

The best part is the people that hate him bought Nicola stock instead. Get woke go broke.
I do hope they can become a profitable business down in my area, Coolidge AZ. Create jobs and industry.
He’s still pro UBI so I’m skeptical

They actually turned on him a couple years ago when it was disclosed that he donated to Democrats AND gasp Republicans.
They don’t like him because he makes his employees work.
Yep
"Reeeee he should be in our side! He makes electric cars, which is progressive and cool! Trump will ban them, just you watch!"
Yeah I won't hold my breath for all these lefty faggot Tesla Model S firesales...
Fuck’em.
Get FUCKED California.
Build A wall around CommieFornia!!!
Split it up and wall off anything west of the Sierra slope - State of Jefferson area. SOJ51.ORG Then we will turn off their water 👍🏼
Southern CommieFornia is a natural desert. Why they never built Desalination PlantS is mind boggling
Exactly. …. Free to southern CommieFornia… next 100:years. Water Rights will be the Fight of all, fights in that area
lots of conservatives here in cental california. pray for us
🙏🙏🙏
I think a Cybertruck is in my future. I want to paint it to look like a Warthog from Halo though.
I was thinking, given the stainless steel body, how it would be nice to weld some attach points for a pack-rack and some other gear to the outside (convenient attach points of add-on armor as well)
It'll be awesome if Alex Jones switches his current armored car out for a Cybertruck. The memes will be absolutely off the charts.
Preordered as well. Looks fuckin sick and something different than the shit designs of modern trucks
What a sight !!! Do,it!!!
It looks fucking SEXY in Warthog Green
you know our motto, we deliver!
Bet you could find an old deactivated .50 cal to mount on the back.
I fucking love it when winners team up.
Seriously I'm so glad my brain brought me to this team instead of some fag professor talking about trans gender minority dance equity or some other critical theory bullshit and blaming all of my problems on others.
Riots and lockdowns change minds pretty fast and solidly. Mess with people's livelihoods and all that other bullshit goes out the Overton window.
Exactly!!!
Donald meeting with the Mexican President in 2015 won me over and that serves as a baseline perspective for me of his Art of the Deal. I think of it whenever I don't grasp his angle completely, like his recent urging us to wear masks.
Same
GET WOKE GO BROKE, COMMIEFORNIA.
👍👍👍
Is he actually closing the CA plants to move to Texas or just creating a new truck plant?
I work for the Contractors State License Board in California. Was on the phone with Elon's secretary. He was removing himself from their CA license. Looks like he is giving up on this communist shithole.
That’s a pretty clear sign. I’m in the Austin area so this new plant will probably be down the road. I wonder if the cucks in Sacramento will do anything responsible to get him to stay?
No, they will double down on him and attempt to TAX him for leaving. It's coming. I think a lot of home owners who sell to leave are going to get a tax bill follow them to their new out fo state residence.
10 years ago: TESLA IS THE FUTURE, MAAAAN
Today: WTF? I HATE TESLA!
Lol.
Yeah, pretty funny to watch the "I believe in facts, and science" fart sniffing crowd that loved Elon turn on him over nothing. Bunch of morons.
Oh well, Tesla will go the way of Goya.
He also privatized space flight, and saved NASA an absolute ton of money already, and immeasurable amounts going into the future, I'm sure.
Yep. This dude is doing things that literally all of the “experts” said couldn’t be done. Just like my President.
Which is a lot more than those who got a useless degree in liberal sharts can say.
He’s 100% about his business. And he’s been successful at it… winning is a process of decisions.
Trump 2020.
That is the ultimate goal… and the Minerals on Mars.
Mars will never have a magnetic field required to keep an atmosphere from blowing away and to keep you safe from radiation and will never be a good place to live or harvest for resources.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmFOBoy2MZ8&t=427s
This channel is amazing btw
I'm very skeptical about Starlink..... but I could be wrong.
It’s okay to be skeptical. But if you think about it, the main goal of Musk is to colonize Mars and the main way he is going to pay for that is through Starlink. This man made rockets that can land upright, I’m confident he can make and ISP. It’s going to be a very cool future we live in.
The rest of the world will be colonizing us, if Biden is President.
Check out what he is doing with Neuralink - truly incredible stuff.
I know! It’s amazing. This dude is doing literally 4-5 revolutionary things at once! He alone is making the future an exciting place.
he's the fucking GOAT. Truly the only billionaire that's using his wealth to build a better future and progressing our great civilization. God forbid the Chinese reach mars first. imagining the CCP flag on the planet is disgusting
Isn't Tesla still heavily subsidized?
I remember when leftists loved Elon. Their behavior is so bad that it red pilled him, and many others.
They're creating an actual enemy in touting fake ones, the absolute irony and lack of awareness of the left is hilarious.
They are, and not just Elon. They are rapidly losing the hearts and minds of flyover country as well. Even lifelong working stiff Democrats who never thought too much about politics, just that the union or their parents told them to vote Dem.
The tax dollars will be spent so progressively that they’ll be gone before the first Tesla rolls off the assembly line.
Can confirm. Got the hell out 6 years ago. How's that light rail that doesn't bring you downtown working out?
Hahahaha. I forgot about that ridiculousness, probably for the sake of sanity.
What greener (redder?) pastures did you relocate to?
NC
They have probably the worst homeless problem in all of Texas. Once these tax dollars roll in, you’ll see homeless walking around in Lululemon shorts “because they deserve to enjoy the same luxuries that we do”
Can confirm. I live in a nice central neighborhood and i’ve seen vagrants sleeping on the street in the middle of the day just a few blocks from my house.
They're reducing police funding in the next proposed budget and spending 60 million on homelessness.
Yuck. The Arch is already bad enough. Go there at night and it’s like a vagrant block party. Throwing more money at it will surely fix the problem.
He must have an agreement with Gov Abbott. Maybe the factory is outside of Austin City Limits
It's going to be in Del Valle near the airport off of 71
It's not actually in Austin. It's in Travis Co., just to the east of the Austin city limit (Hwy 130 at Harold Green Rd.).
They are excited about all the extra tax money they can steal !!!
Feggit used to love Elon Musk until President Trump came along now they hate him
He's my favorite African-American
I agree. He might tell everyone but he is
It's gotta suck to be a bitter leftist that owns a Tesla right about now lmao, gotta look at that big logo on the steering wheel every single day.
Lol
This is great but I’m concerned that as more companies move to TX out of shitty CA their employees who come with will just continue to vote blue...
i betcha the folks who work in a car factory arent your typical blue-haired leftists
Except they're building in Austin. The local employees they will hire are absolutely your typical blue-haired leftist.
Leftists are too lazy to work at Tesla. They pull ungodly hours at those factories in order to hit milestones.
This is just untrue. Not all leftists are lazy. Don't underestimate your enemy.
You're right, I was making a joke at their expense since many of them want the government to pay for everything.
Gotcha, sorry sarcasm can be tricky to detect in text form 🤣
Leftists work desk jobs, not factory jobs.
They do work factory jobs, though.
Can confirm... plenty of lefties wearing big oil nomex pushing union represented employees to vote blue... because having a very lucrative job in a refinery is just inconvenient or something. Oh, and ‘our’ candidate will help us seamlessly transition from fossil fuel to clean energy. 🤣🤣🤣. My ass.
Good point!
The plant is new; most of the existing employees will stay in California. This new plant is a significant boost to the local economy.
Yayyy!!!!
Fort Worth/Arlington has auto plants. The Ford F-150 trucks are made there, iirc.
Move out of the Austin City Limits?
I'm glad Elon is keeping promises to GEOTUS and that he's not building in Cuckifornia, but why oh why did it have to be Austin?
because Austin doesn't get floods and hurricanes 3x a year and Dalll as is truly cucked.
Lol.
I should have clarified. I’m in a suburb of a different Texas city.
Buzzfeed: "10 reasons why jobs not being offshored is actually bad for the American worker. Number 7 will blow your mind!"
Sad but true!!!
But Trump hates immigrants
He not a very good rasict
Yep. Trump needs to get his game up!!!
especially African ones
We have the best African immigrants
Musk probably still has some family member in South African and knows how affirmative action and BLM ends
i think this is about Tesla being an american company and
wanting to build in the US. unlike the others...
Tesla has done well to keep the union fuckery, nill or negligible.
so is detroit still the shithole we all imagine?
yep
Commiefornia is no longer MADE IN THE USA!
Correct !!!
Panasonic's relationship with Tesla is over. Think Gigashanghai.
Another huge reason he needs to ditch that and move it to USA
I have been reading rumors that something better than batteries will be powering the next generation of Tesla cars. If it's true, I'd expect a major shakeup.
Pelosi and Gavin missed out on that tax money though
Lol. The family of Kleptomaniacs!!
2nd best part of this tweet: "Elon Musk @elonmusk @realDonaldTrump and @Tesla Thank you on behalf of the Tesla team. We look forward to building Giga Texas!"
Tesla is the world's most valuable automaker, isnt it
It's truly a wonder what the Chicom money can do for inflating valuations to ridiculous levels...
Yes. It is.
That's pretty impressive beating all those old giants in just a few years
Yep. It’s an amazing feat !!! It really is.
cannot wait for my cybertruck I ordered on the first day.
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I wish he would of been thinking about building in Wisconsin, but I'm not surprised since this feckless anti business cunt got elected. Fuck you Evers you are the reason we can't have nice things anymore.
Now Elon needs to lower Tesla prices in line with regular cars. $30,000 is in the upper range of acceptable prices.
$85,000 is definitely out of the ball park. Just like Fauci's pitching WASN'T.
I agree. AND use ONLY American Minerals for batteries. And the manufacturer of them.
They’re slowly getting there. The lowest trim Model 3 can already be had for $35,000.
I foresee a day when the idea of having a gas powered car will seem as needlessly complicated as having a gas powered anything in the home like this commercial portrays.
https://youtu.be/Nn__9hLJKAk
I hope Texas takes their major cities back eventually. It's a great state.
Wish it was coming to Tulsa..
Elon did say how impressed they were with Oklahoma and how he'd look to expand there in the future.
Lol the reebots are saying "Trump didn't make that happen, Elon just chose to move there" as if they know how or why Elon moved. Then Elon was like its an honor.
Twatter Commenters are a Disease
Is he definitely pulling his plant out of Calif or is this actually an additional plant he's building?
Elon needs to run for office. CA Governor is a good place to start. FUCK NEWSOME
I’d vote for him over Newscum any day. Just please not Kanye...
Wait. What? Did they talk during the Space X launch last month?
Just improve the quality of Tesla vehicles. I heard the quality control is a bit underwhelming.
Just like that, trump is the party of American made electric self driving cars! Fuck yeah.
Yes. He is!!
🦅🦅🦅
I just hope Tesla hires Texans at this new facility instead of importing Californian's that are turning our great state blue
Uh oh! The Dems are gonna pounce on that “He kept his word to me” bit. They don’t like people doing that and they already don’t like Elon Musk because he’s not one of them.
Tesla Cars, Batteries, and Solar... Starlink Satellite Internet... The Boring Company... SpaceX... I do believe Musk wants to move to Mars ASAP.
THEY NEVER FUCKEN LEARN.
Very odd.
Aren't they producing Tesla? That would, I think, require them to be closer to a technological hub than a manufacturing one.
The Lib reaction to this is hilarious! They just don't get it.
A Leftist is “thinking stunted”
Hell ya! 500 shares of TSLA, to the moon! YOLO!
🇺🇸🐸🚨 KA CHING 🚨🐸🇺🇸
My Tesla stock is really going to appreciate this boost.
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Hmm, might have to trade in for a used Tesla now that all the lefties will be selling theirs 😄
Big moves. MAGA
Yep. Trump 2020
