The rolling chassis might be, but we need battery production here. The 18650 cells they use are all Asian sourced Panasonic. It looks like they are starting to get into the 21700 range at the gigafactory 1in Nevada though. They probably won't sell them for bikes, vapes, flashlights though which is a pity. The battery market would be huge if anyone with some big $ started up some competition.

I have been reading rumors that something better than batteries will be powering the next generation of Tesla cars. If it's true, I'd expect a major shakeup.
