So I've been a baseball fan my whole life, Huge chicago cubs fan, but anytime you see the first pitch of the season, its always a great thing, so I tuned in to watch the Yankees/Nationals game.
Only to see them all start kneeling, and it immediatley killed any enthusiasm I had. And then there was the fact that the Red Sox hung up that big ass black lives matter banner on Fenway park.
Seriously it pisses me off, all the things I love are being taken over by these Antifa/BLM douchebags.
But at least I still got hunting and fishing.
Lifelong fan of the Cubs, father was as well. Was supposed to go together for our first time this year to Wrigley field. He passed in March so that won't happen. He was a true conservative, so I think he would be disgusted at what's going on, so I won't be going at all.
It's a real shame because my dad, wife, and I really enjoyed going to Wrigley and staying in downtown Chicago in general. But that's all over now. Never will go up there again unless somehow I'm forced to for business or something. Back in the early 2000's you could rent a condo for a very reasonable amount (about the same as a decent hotel room) but you'd have an actual apartment with a real kitchen, multiple bathrooms and bedrooms, etc. And a fantastic view, some of the condos we rented were over 60 stories high. But they ruined that, they made it illegal to rent a condo for less than a month at a time in the building we liked staying at, and they did that all over the city I'm pretty sure. And now? Fuck Chicago, the NFL, the NBA, and MLB.
