Reparations was already paid in blood for not only the civil war but all of the British wars for emancipation. Further consider the amount of handouts and cleaning up after crime and dealing with economic pain of people hired based on affirmative action instead of merit. Whites have paid many times over so they are the ones that are owed. Blacks have the best opportunities and highest standard of living here than in anywhere in the world, so long as they keep a job and refrain from crime. There is a certain spoiled brat attitude that will come from helping people too much and this might have been a natural consequence of treating a whole race of people like children. I admire the blacks that have maintained their honor despite that bigotry of low expectations and I admire those that have chosen to succeed instead of blame others.
