I work in Boston, I drive by Fenway every day to get to work. Not only did they put up a giant BLM banner on the side of the stadium; in order to do it they took down the one for the Jimmy Fund to fight childhood cancer

I used to live in Boston, my family had lived there for years. We all got out of the city for the most part. The Sox have lost me forever with that banner over the Pike. Fuck that. I miss the days of Trot Nixon and Pedro.

I loved how Trot’s batting helmet looked like he dug it out of the garbage it had so much pine tar on it. Always cracked me up

He was the scrappy Boston athlete who didn't do anything overly well, but you could tell he put his heart and soul into his job. That's why he was always my favorite.
