Combine that with the fact that for several years she was called lazy, liar, stupid, etc from these "very smart doctors" until finally one said "you know what...lets look at this."
I'm glad she was able to find out the right doctor but keeping in mind she makes less than $15/hr, her thyroid medicine changes almost monthly so she is constantly changing doses...bro she out here dyin' and sheittttt.

That means big pharma could raise the price which we pay and what the social programs pay. We paid high price, high taxes to cover their subsidies and barely afford to save money.

The biggest cost difference came from the fact that in Canada I think you can make a generic after only 3 years while in the US they hold the exclusive rights for the full 13. Don't quote me on the year ranges, it's been a while.

I am talking insurance premium reduction, increased life expectancy/quality in addition to the long term R&D improvements, market competition and overall improvement of the US healthcare system.
