Yep. It was an inversion of the pyramid basically. Cutting out sugar, fats and vegetables should be at the base, meat and stuff second. Bread last.

But bread is a HUGE source of calories for a population easy to farm and produce. So they were enticed by the fact that without bread we would have a lot less calories in our economic-food-consumption sysetm.
