It was definitely not a waste of time. It could easily gain Trump some new support from even a small portion of the large Barstool fanbase, and it certainly won’t cost him anything. And the relatively even talking time only made it seem more like a conversation, rather than an interview, which in my opinion was a positive. Dave has a really big following of millennials & young 30s. I think this was a smart move for POTUS, bc it will def introduce him in a different light to a younger audience who may be surprised by how human and funny he is.
