I remember distinctly when we performed concerts in band we were on our old gym floor with our banged up instruments- when we went to the county competition I was absolutely blown away with their facilities and equipment. They had an actual theater with a huge stage in a massive hall and all brand new instruments. My jaw dropped. The had theater style padded seating and we were on chairs from the cafeteria with our parents in the wooden bleachers.
