I like to buy used books online ; for the last two months, it is taking them twice as long to reach me , say, 7-14 days instead of 4-7. I have one I ordered on 06/21 which is still just sitting in the USPS system. Granted, that's media mail, but it shows to me that the USPS cannot deliver anything vital in a timely manner, and ballots are a helluva lot more vital than used books. If these worthless fucking masks are good enough to allow for the reopening of stores, they're good enough to allow for the reopening of polling places. If they aren't good enough to allow the polls to be opened, then stop making the damned things mandatory.
PS In all the years I have lived at this address, I have never had a full month go by without some problem with delivery. It's a sorting issue, so I am constantly getting mail for someone with an address on a street that ends in the same number as mine Think 15th street while I am on 25th.
