She looks to be in the 20 -24 age group so the .02% death rate would be if she actually got it. Based on the fact that about 150 people between age 20 - 24 have died in the entire US, odds of actually dying from it are about .001 or 1 in 100,000. https://www.acsh.org/news/2020/06/23/coronavirus-covid-deaths-us-age-race-14863
I think mail is 100% safe at least hasn't seen statistic of covid death rate for it.
Sorry couldn't resist pede. It should be near the 20 something rate but 30s is an age where some health problems start to manifest and people may develop their first comorbidities which influence the aggressiveness of the virus.
If you don't have comorbidities such as high blood pressure, being morbidly obese, a compromised immune system you are fine just double down on vitamin c and eat healthy and you won't have much to worry about
Your chance of catching it are high, whether now or in the future. It's like the flu. Covid exists and it's not going away. The more of us healthy people who catch it and don't get sick and turn into petri dishes of death and lung disease, the closer we get to herd immunity, if there is such a thing. Either way, just like any contagion, it's your responsibly to maintain a healthy lifestyle in order to avoid deadly consequences. That doesn't mean hiding from it, that means maintaining a strong body and immune system
That person isn't providing any sources for their calculations. Sorry, but I can't help there
