No one really knows. We don’t really know how many deaths are caused by it, nor how many people have it. I know of 3 extremely fit people under 40 that are friends of friends and participate in a common sporting community on Facebook that have died from it. A young kid at a nearby church ended up on ECMO because of it, but he was type-1 diabetic.
