But, the criteria to use deadly force in self defense is “risk of serious bodily harm” and, in AR, “without a completely safe avenue of escape”. It’s certainly not “with a deadly weapon”.
But, the criteria to use deadly force in self defense is “risk of serious bodily harm” and, in AR, “without a completely safe avenue of escape”.
So yeah, shooting someone who’s using a laser to blind you would objectively be justifiable if you couldn’t escape that threat with guaranteed safety.
