Three of the staff in our department went to the BLM "peaceful" protests early on and others talked about going. One of the BLM attendees got sick with Covid like symptoms, was out for two weeks, but tested negative and was able to return. When we started seeing a lot of patients that were injured during the "peaceful" riots, no one else from the department wanted to go down anymore.
