I saw the video of biden debating sanders back in march. He was never very smart but he was coherent and seemed to know where he was. Compare that to recent appearances in which he seems to forget what he is talking about and occasionally forgets where he is and starts wandering off. When he does speak its often a word salad.

Has his dementia progressed that rapidly? There is no reason for him to fake it, it does not help him at all. If 4 months makes that much difference what will another 3+ months do to him? The way he is now he will not be able to stand up to a debate let alone if he gets worse in the meantime.

I doubt there will be a debate, they will make up an excuse. They will want Trump's tax returns or several concessions. They may want only questions from the moderator and of course biden will get a sneak copy in advance and read his answer off the teleprompter.

If he keeps going downhill they may be forced to take him off the ticket so then would it be sanders? Or dodge the debates and hope he wins then the vp becomes pres?
