Trust me, my friend, I realize that fully, and I'm not at all suggesting otherwise. The Democrat Party as it currently exists is completely irredeemable, and its politicians are totally despicable.
My first post was referring instead to regular people who tend to hold more classically liberal views, but may have voted primarily for Democrats in the past. As it turns out, many of those individuals have chosen to switch sides in recent years out of necessity; think the Reagan Democrats from the Rust Belt who helped Trump win in 2016.
It's no surprise why the Walk Away movement is rapidly gaining traction across the country. At this point, the Democrat Party has pretty much abandoned its core constituency from years ago.
