All of the statements from this companies are still shitting on people for not wearing masks. They're saying their policy change is because of "violent anti-maskers"....instead of the truth which is that it's because people are not coming in the stores if they have to wear masks.

lavendarlady 46 points ago +46 / -0

I have chosen to go without and am waiting for these assholes to come to their senses. Sales have to have been dropping. I can't be alone in this. Will I go there now to replace my storm door ? I think not. It looks like shit ....I will wait to buy a new one from the first store who stops the mask bullshit.

27
thisisatestof2 27 points ago +27 / -0

Same here. I have only purchased essential items such as food, needed clothes and items needed for more critical repairs. Non-essential cosmetic things can wait.

Cheesecakecrush 19 points ago +19 / -0

Walmart employee here: Sales are actually dropping back to about normal for this time of year, we were near Black-Friday levels EVERY DAY during the lockdowns since it was one of the only places people could even fucking go.

12
lavendarlady 12 points ago +12 / -0

So , I need stuff and all the stores around me are being tyrants because some lady in Lansing is putting the onus on them to police me. I should say OWN US...I have stopped going to the store. Trying to make do with what I have. Are they easing up as I've read at Walmart.?

3
HiddenDekuScrub 3 points ago +3 / -0

That doesn't surprise me. It was a really good time to be a grocer. So of course let's kill the golden goose while we're ahead.

Glad to see people are seeing through this crap. The masks need to go.

7
NoSteppy2020 7 points ago +7 / -0

AMEN BROTHER. I stopped remodeling my lake house because of this shit. I refuse to drop money into a store that will belittle me for excercising my rights. Breathing air is a right.

1
AppalachianTactical 1 point ago +1 / -0

Go there anyway and turn around and sat you are taking business elsewhere if they say something.

Big chains like that are no doubt keeping track if they are bothering to pay someone at the door to inform people they have to wear one. My walmart had a dude outside and I did an about face when he told me about the mandate. Took mu business a block away to the dollar store.

Ive noticed the dollar stores gave no fucks all through the pandemic. One in my state was fined months ago for customers not having masks.

RIB4ever 36 points ago +36 / -0

Lmao. If there were any "ViOLeNt" anti-maskers, they would have received 24-hour news coverage attacking "angry old white conservatives" for being "anti-science"

23
real_mcnugget 23 points ago +23 / -0

"violent anti-maskers"

It's just like anti-fa. WE ARe AnTi fAsCiST so how can we be fascist?

It's not anti-maskers who are violent; it's the MASKERS. It's obvious and clear as day. People plaster themselves harassing someone not wearing a mask on YouTube and social media like they just cured some 6 year old kids cancer. It's a political game people are playing with their friends trying to outdo one another on who is more morally superior. They look so stupid; there's no way they can upload the video and sit back and watch themselves initiating contact with someone not wearing a mask and beginning to berate them. You'd have to be totally fucking retarded to believe you're morally superior and helping save the world by doing this.

7
MapleBaconWaffles 7 points ago +7 / -0

Silence is violence, so every time you don't berate someone in public, you're a violent anti-masker.

6
Bluestorm83 6 points ago +6 / -0

So, by that logic, every time I do NOT kick the shit out of some faggot cuck soy trans pale-as-the-horse-of-the-apocalypse BLM shirt wearing shithead, I'm actually being violent, and DOING those things would be peace?

Could the answer to Doubletalk be going all-in and using TRIPLETALK on them!?

4
HEXEN 4 points ago +4 / -0

Better these days to just buy a gun and stay silent until it's time to shoot.

Actions speak louder than words. They are trying to save face with the Karens. But this means that we are winning.

12
HeavenlyTrumpets 12 points ago +12 / -0

fuck the karens and the commie left..... their voices need to frankly be laughed at dirisively in the culture. That's when we'll really be winning. There should be no compulsion to "save face" for such losers.

I live in NC. I've gone to Harris Teeter, Home Depot, Bass Pro, Cabelas, Target, and a few other stores.

I have not worn a mask in any of them. Occasionally the door-jockey will say something about requiring a mask. I either just ignore them or say "no thanks" and keep walking. I've definitely gotten a few dirty looks from people but I really don't care. My body, my choice.

I'm not falling for the Holocough.

P.S. Fuck Roy Cooper.

13
MisterKpak 13 points ago +13 / -0

AMEN to that! Fuck Roy Cooper. I'm hoping for a Dan Forest landslide

5
Tip-O-Matic 5 points ago +5 / -0

I'm with you fellas!! Fuck Roy Cooper!!!

Central NC here. No one has ever said anything to me around here, where I live, but in Wilmington last week, they were a bunch of mask Nazis. I also avoid larger cities like Greensboro. They've gone full cuck there, so I'll never spend another penny in that city.

2
AlphaNathan 2 points ago +2 / -0

NC PEDES! Vote Dan Forest in November!

This is the right response right here. I do the same exact thing.

I got a ton of practice in my youth wearing offensive black metal t shirts. Dirty looks don't bother me in the least.

Sometimes I just mirror their behavior, which always throws them for a loop.

Harris Teeter has a mask required policy since July 22. Have you been since then? Just curious since I have to go grocery shopping today.

1
Zikkafoos 1 point ago +1 / -0

I go at least twice a week just to keep my veggies fresh. The door jockey said something about a mask on Thursday but I just walked past him.

28
ElectricChad 28 points ago +29 / -1

I went to Walmart yesterday. You can only go in one way, the other entrance is closed. They had a security guard standing by the door.

Had a mask but pulled under my nose. He said nothing. Rolled in, saw a guy with a Be Free shirt on no mask! Another woman not far from him, no mask. I pulled mine down to my neck, walked past several employees, they turned their faces and said nothing. Saw 3 other people with no masks.

This is in Florida, we have a mandate in my county.

12
RedditIs4Retards 12 points ago +13 / -1

I do the same. In Washington. Only 2 people asked me to put on a mask. One wearing a "I can't breathe" mask (ironic isn't it...) And the other was wearing a mask under her nose.

Better yet, avoid these stores completely, or at least to whatever degree you can. Stop grocery shopping at the Wal Mart Supercenter. It's killed so many grocery stores already. Find a local small grocer, or even a local/regional chain, and shop there instead. Go to the Mom & Pop hardware store instead of the national big box if you need fasteners or a hacksaw blade or some schedule 40, and buy your lumber from a lumberyard - there are plenty still out there, and they want your business, and they employ your neighbors.

Wal Mart, Home Depot, whatever - these shouldn't be where you're going as your first choice to buy things, they should be where you go when you can't find something anywhere else.

Well put.

12
sustainable_saltmine 12 points ago +12 / -0

they won't in states with mandates. they may not have a STORE policy but they still have to obey what da guvnah says

29
JimJordansJacket 29 points ago +31 / -2

Do they? Really? Governors aren’t dictators. They don’t make decrees that become law and overturn constitutional rights.

Private businesses can tell the governor to go pound sand. And if enough of them do, then the tyranny will cease

4

3
de9ebkmd7 3 points ago +3 / -0

Nah, the guvnah can't just conscript all the store greeters in the state to enforce her dictates.

12
TrumpsFavorite 12 points ago +12 / -0

These companies allow shoplifting because it’s cheaper than getting sued every time they wrongly stop someone. They were never going to enforce these stupid mask orders.

11
MrStaticElectricity 11 points ago +11 / -0

Vote your your feet, people. We are the fuel for America's economic engine. If these companies continue to bow to the low mortality WuFlu boogie man then don't shop there. On your last visit, after you've spent $300 let the clerk know you're pissed and you're not coming back due to their idiocy.

Stimulus is what these companies are counting on, not free market economics. Let your reps know you are against further handouts. Once the free money stops normalcy will return.

10
Sum_devil 10 points ago +10 / -0

Tried to say that these controversial mandates will cause more harm than Good. Let people be free to decide how much risk they want to take. Quit fucking with people about saving us from a virus that doesn’t kill most of us.

10
Tazhawkeye 10 points ago +10 / -0

It’s not about the mask. It never was about the mask. It’s what the mask represents. The masks represents being ruled. This is taxation without representation. Our votes are meaningless because these politicians have rigged the rules in their favor.

10
Cheesecakecrush 10 points ago +10 / -0

Walmart employee here: regular associates are powerless to stop you from entering if you don't have a mask on, even if they say you have to wear one to enter.

8
Bluestorm83 8 points ago +8 / -0

Walmart never stopped serving maskless customers. Anyone who said they are medically exempt, or have a religious reason for not wearing a mask, was allowed to shop, and thanked for coming in. Anyone who refused to wear a mask without citing a reason was not to be barred entrance. At most, the "Health Ambassador" could inform a salaried member of management. The Manager then could, if they chose, remind the customer about the policy. If the customer still refused, and still did not cite a reason, the manager could, then, if they chose, and if police had already expressed a willingness to be called over mask-issues, call the police. The police then would ask the customer to leave and return with a mask.

During any of these three interactions, the customer could simply say "I am medically exempt" and right then and there it would end. Further, most Walmarts do NOT have local police who are willing to be called over masklessness. Further, most Walmarts do not have Management who would waste police time over this crap, or even actually CARE about this crap in the slightest. They comply with company policy and local mandates, as it is their job, as do I when on the clock. But at any step in the process that is left up to their discretion, they, at my store at least, just let it go. I've seen one of my own managers, when dealing with a Karen about to have a fit about another customer not wearing a mask (who may have been me, post-shift) let her know that we're not the police, and that any customer who has religious or medical reasons to not wear a mask are not to be discriminated against.

2
azn_gay_conservative 2 points ago +2 / -0

Met an actual Karen type health ambassador who insisted on not letting me in "cuz thats the law" lol

2
Bluestorm83 2 points ago +2 / -0

Ask to speak to their manager. They've just violated a policy written by Home Office. At this point, you can continue to escalate until you find someone who will comply with the policy as written. And the higher they let it go, the more severe the punishment will be when it eventually gets sorted out. Wasting a couple minutes of the APASM will probably give Health Karen a warning. If you get to Market Manager, then the Store Manager is gonna get a talking to, the APASM is going to get a more intense talking to, and Health Karen may well get a Coaching, which is a thing that, if many are accrued simultaneously, mean Sayonara.

1
azn_gay_conservative 1 point ago +1 / -0

Thanks for the tip.

I actually got irritated and told her to call the cop on me then walked past her.

2
Bluestorm83 2 points ago +2 / -0

No Problem. The "health ambassadors" have a very limited number of options. First, they remind you of Walmart's Mask Policy OR the Local Mask Mandate, whichever is more strict. If you say you have a medical/religious exemption, they are to reply "I Understand. Thank you for shopping at Walmart!" and let you proceed unimpeded. If you say anything else, or even nothing at all, they aren't allowed to question you, stop you, anything else. They can repeat themselves if you say nothing and they think you didn't hear them, but that's it.

Now, things can go to the place I mentioned above, with management and/or police, but that's a very long shot, and again, you can get out of their bullshit just by saying "I have a medical exemption." You don't have to explain what it is, and they're not even allowed to ask. Hell, I know that even the PA Executive Mandate, written by Tranny Granny himself, clearly states that people are not to be asked to prove their medical reasons.

Shop where you want, but the CEO of home Depot donates to Trump and the CEO of Lowe's donated as much as be could to Clinton and her super pacs

Glad I already do most of my shopping at home depot anyway

I went to Walmart the other day and a lady said “You have to wear a mask to enter.” I said “Okay”, turned around, left, and dropped $100 at the store down the street.

4
EnforcerDesu 4 points ago +4 / -0

Heard that things got ugly last week at my Kroger. I went this morning and there was no greeter and no signs up mandating masks. It's just not fair to ask a Kroger employee to be a security officer. This mask nonsense needs to stop.

3
BaronFalcon 3 points ago +3 / -0

I was at home depot in a rural CO town the other day and some pimple faced kid stocking items kept telling this vietnam vet dude to put his mask on, he finally said "tell me that again and I'll knock your ass off the ladder". Me and my also maskless brother about died laughing. No one said anything to me but I was polite and friendly. Stopped at Harbor Freight and checker tried to tell me to put on a mask and I said "no thanks, I'm an athiest". I'm actually Christian but it sounded funny in my head.

2
Spicy_Jeans 2 points ago +2 / -0

Can confirm. Walked freely around Home Depot twice yesterday and probably 30% of the people in there were mask-less. Unfortunately the small hardware store didn’t have everything I needed for the project, otherwise I wouldn’t have gone in there.

I was told i had to wear a mask the other day with my money in hand. Walked out and went to a dollar store and got my purchase no prob.

I made sure to be clear because i figured if they put out a guy solely to remind people of mask mandates than that guy is probably reporting how many customers they lost who turned right around.

I live in Louisiana and Winn Dixie Food Stores first said that they would not require masks, now they decided that beginning on July 27 they WILL require masks. I was a WD supporter, now my family will shop the smaller local food stores where freedom still rings. I will also now sign any petition to remove the DIXIE from their name. Screw them. I have had it with these spineless corporations.

I order as much as I can online, directly form the vendor if I can. I try to bypass Amazon at all costs. Unfortuntately its getting more and mroe difficult. Bezos has his hand in this virus BS somewhere I know it.

As far as the the rest. I never really shop at wally world, costco, Lowes or the Depot. most of the time they don't have the crap Im looking for in stock and always tell me to "well, have you checked online/"

i frequent my local hardware store its pretty damn good. most other stuff I get from our garden, hunting or from the local markets and butchers.

Fuck big box costco and the rest, especially publix - for cucking out to the karens.
