They have been saying that for 7 weeks now. I'm not saying don't be prepared, but this whole "they are coming for the suburbs" thing has been like our version of "stay home and wear a mask". I'm not going to put my life on pause because of fear porn no matter which side it comes from.

I guess they did it yesterday. Thousands in Portland stormed residential neighborhoods.

That's a normal night for Aurora.

Eastern edge where it gets a bit more rural isn't so bad. But the I-225 area is plagued with this kind of behavior.

SemperFree 9 points ago +9 / -0

Aurora is a rough area. Some of it has been gentrified, but best keep your head on a swivel if you are down there.

Actually, keep your head on a swivel everywhere now. Be aware of your surroundings at all times and plan exit strategies.

That hardly counts. Let me know when they start going out to the burbs an hour or so outside the city.

I think our side just wants them to show up so we have a reason to start dropping them lmao.

Makes sense as to why our side keeps hyping them up into doing it. That and to ruin public support for them even more.

Yeah I'd rather they not show up because I don't want to kill anyone, but if they do... welp it was your choice.

Not gonna turn into a victim to fucking terrorists.

Still waiting for an Ohio riot to reach my rural area. They couldn’t muster more than 15 protestors in nearby towns

SemperFree 3 points ago +3 / -0

Set up loud speakers. Play Drowning Pool Bodies and let the dance begin.

Start with the star spangled banner.

That song doesn't motivate me

It will get their knickers in a twist.

2
SemperFree 2 points ago +2 / -0

Ahhh, good point!

I spent a couple of anxious nights for the first week before I realized all of the posts about coming out to the suburbs or the rural towns were either screencaps from Facebook, random tweets from nobodies, or weird blogs no one had ever heard of before.

Don't put your life on pause. Just be ready

2
PurestEvil 2 points ago +2 / -0

Just be ready. It's among the next steps and you should prepare. That's all.

2
DestroyerofCobwebs 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yep. Prep however you feel appropriate for your situation, but don't let yourself get stressed or obsessed over this shit.

Neighbor is a Vietnam refugee, and HATES commies. With a passion. His kids work in gun stores. The family has lots of guns.

He told me yesterday that if they come into our little suburban neighborhood looking for trouble, they WILL find it.

I believe him.

Sandman441 5 points ago +5 / -0

100% they might do it in democratic cities sparingly, which will bring more people to our side, but if they do it in a republican state they are done, riots won't last long.

2
Notme 2 points ago +2 / -0

That’s a good neighbor to have.

There was a BLM protest yesterday in a small suburb of Placer County, which is pretty based. A few residents report seeing these protestors being brought in by buses & it was publicized by Black Zebra productions.

Of course, 99% were white young people and proceeded to march in the street and block traffic. Residents were rightfully angry and were ready to go clear them out. Local police finally cleared them out, however not soon enough in my opinion.

AngelMark 15 points ago +15 / -0

I can see manhattan from the end of my street here in corrupt NJ. No way any of those asshole NY BLM are coming over the bridge to my sleepy little bayshore town but if they try we are ready!

14
flagoffaith 14 points ago +14 / -0

They tried to hold a BLM rally in our little Western Pa. town back in June. They bused in people from Pittsburgh and made threats about destroying our veteran's memorials. Around 300+ veterans and patriots showed up early and made a camp around the park where the memorials are located. We were all carrying and peaceful, but made it clear that we would not permit them to get near the park. Their "rally" lasted a little over an hour before people started to break off and leave.

Stand up to them. STAND. UP. TO. THEM.

incogneato 9 points ago +9 / -0

Stand up to them. STAND. UP. TO. THEM.

This. Nobody ever stood up to those wretched brats in their entire lives. That's why they think they can order the police around and threaten and bully citizens with impunity.

Now they're all shrieking with outrage that a citizen took out one of them in Austin last night.

Not everyone is like your feckless parents and Mr. Rogers, kids.

It is nice that you were able to organize.

10
ArcticPharaoh 10 points ago +10 / -0

That's too much walking for them.

9
Bertuzzi 9 points ago +9 / -0

Little do they know that lots of us have spent our entire lives preparing for unrest like this. We don't want to get involved but if it comes to our doorstep, game on.

10
Home_ 10 points ago +10 / -0

I saw a meme the other day here that was you’d probably appreciate, it said “just wait until the people who just want to be left alone get involved”

Rambo

Butthurt 8 points ago +8 / -0

They already tried and it failed

16
Staatssicherheit 16 points ago +16 / -0

No, they were able to leverage their asset in the DA's office to charge the homeowners. Fortunately, it was in a red state. So the Republican AG, Senator and Governor basically said they would get pardoned if they were somehow railroaded. The DA is being investigated for civil rights violations now.

Yesterday in Portland thousands stormed residential neighborhoods. My m.o. is to lure them to my property with a trail of twinkies and kool-aid juice boxes...

Am I the only Christian who literally thought the reason why people are so weak today is because of shows like this? Show sucked, intro sucked and nothing about it showed me strength in Christ. But showed a pacifist mentality that brought nothing but weakness.

Sure some messages were good like accepting anyone based on skin color and forgiving people. But the overly exaggerated softness was disgusting to me.

And now I feel like as with the rise of pedophiles and Tom Hanks played him the more I see that it was never good but allowed people to be more like sheep and accept wrong doing and do nothing about it. Just be nice, soft spoken and allow evil.

Sorry not in my home.

4
incogneato 4 points ago +4 / -0

I never did like Mr. Rogers either. I would turn on Sesame Street for my kids but not Mr. R, even though I couldn't really articulate why I didn't like him. I just found him creepy and weird and thought I was the only one.

Thank you for that post. I think it was the "weakness is good" message that was putting me off.

4
MagaBob 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yeah and you’ll be disarmed and charged for protecting what’s yours. Total fucking clown world

3
Dornan4 [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

Oh you're dead on. I'll take the prison sentence with a smile on my face.

4
DeepWinter 4 points ago +4 / -0

I haven’t been able to go to the range since the scamdemic broke out.

Riots? More like ‘range day at home.’

3
Magalandia 3 points ago +3 / -0

You’ll know when shits really real cause this meme will say “so...the rioters are headed to the country?”

A planned "protest" took place in Loomis, California yesterday- right at Horseshoe Bar exit on I-80. Law enforcement kept the freeway overpass clear. Loomis is a small rural town north of Sacramento. It was live streamed and the audio did not sound "peaceful".

Thepeter 2 points ago +2 / -0

Any details? I did a search on it for Portland but there were articles for like 2 months ago.

3
Dornan4 [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

It took me awhile...for some reason it's down from TD but I found it...here ya go
