Rand is an ideologue like Shapiro. Very eloquent in presenting their positions but sometimes very foolish looking when reality hits them in the ideological balls. This is why my support is behind Pragmatists. They care more about the goal (America Greatness) rather than the means (Conservatives! Libertarians!)
I feel like there's gotta be some wiggle room here. There's a violent armed rebellion that threatens the nation as a whole. Just because they pretend not to to be a linked interstate issue, doesn't mean they aren't.
