I think theaters are mostly a dead business with the advent of cost effective 70" television sets. Theaters are not going to project with the contrast ratio and black levels of a good OLED and no human eyes can tell the difference in resolution. The audio balancing is very poor in general for movies but theaters take that extra step into going above 120db just to make sure you have to wear earplugs in a theater. This pede picked an excellent career. A well tuned home theater system with seamless controls and well done integration/wiring captures that old time movie magic. Who knows, there may even be a market for Made in the USA products that he could squeeze for extra cash installing specialty hardware for patriots. There may even be a market for "dumbing down" television sets so they can be hooked up to a small form factor computing unit for all sorts of cool streaming and library options. The bug bit me hard a few years back when 4k became a thing and I haven't looked back. Drive-ins are still awesome. Cost is usually in the "if you have to ask" category but you can roll your own "okay setup" for normal people budgets.
