the problem with weaponized autism is there are also people like Liver_Kick who don't have a firm grasp on reality due to lack of empathy and ability to see a scenario through. Leads to some of the obsessive behaviors too. That said, when channeled in a healthy way like targeting the media, or reading, sorting and analyzing Wikileaks, it yields wondrous results
How many artists are making $32.04 / hour with bennies, drive a company car (2011 Tarus), own a waterbed free and clear (no financing), have over 500 DVDs, and a corner apartment overlooking a fountain?
Dont be such a pussy. Chasing hogs is what those dogs were bred and trained to do. They love that shit. The best guides take better care of their dogs then the slack jawed faggots that buy designer dogs to show off on social media.
Watch a video - the dogs control the head, a person grabs the rear legs and rolls it onto its side. The person with the knife comes in and stabs it right in the heart. Dies in 15 seconds and is probably more humane than shooting it a dozen times.
Dog hunting requires well trained dogs. Curs are used to track, bay, and exhaust the hog. Then the catch dogs are released usually pitbulls idealy they catch and hold while someone with a boar spear stabs them in the heart. Only a moron would use a knife. Dog hunting is at night and in heavy woods or swamp so firearms are usually reserved for self-defense.
Spears are more precise because you have two points of control. And 4ft which would be a short boar spear is enough to keep your body out of harms way. Try using a 9inch stick versus a 6ft stick to stab a target 1ft off the ground. Then tell me which puts your body closer to danger.
I think he is referring to the shoot looks like it hit back by stomach, when aiming on an animal you are suppose to aim up by the shoulder to you can try to get the heart and lungs and maybe break their shoulders if you miss that so that they dont get as far and can be put down. But someone else could speak up I haven't been hunting in years as much as I wanted to I need a refresher my self.
Definitely....INFO: Alert/Aware pig, quartering away, 125gr HP 7.62(300blk), non mag dot sight Trajectory after point of impact took rd flak path up into chest area. 10 yr old was ecstatic.
You’re not wrong but remember that you’re actually aiming for a point inside the animal. If it was wuartering away when he shot, the point of entry moves back to travel through the heart and lungs.
It was well aware..... before we were aware of it. Silent, hot summer TX morning. It was moving, quartering away. 125gr HP at that entry point, then rd trajectory internally up towards the neck/head. It ran like Usain B but HP was critical and sprint just sped up its bleed out.
7.62x39 (which is the round the AK-47 uses) is awful close to .300 BLK. .300 BLK was made specifically for use in sub-sonic rounds so that it could be suppressed/silenced (hence the name) while still having lethal force (5.56 is supersonic which makes it unsuitable for silencing and a sub-sonic 5.56 round would simply not have enough punch).
If the pig was quartering away it might actually be very good placement to sneak one through the lungs. Plus that’s a good angle to expressly avoid gut shooting.
Spez: 10/10 perfect shot for a quartering deer, possibly high for a heart shot if he wasn’t up in a stand.
Kill native plants and destroy crops and grazing land. The ultimate rural pest. Not to mention they scare off the animals I actually want to spend my time hunting.
For certain species the local rangers / game authority count on hunters for population control.
Guess what happens if there's too many deer? More deer predators that are far less friendly, like coyotes, wolves, and bobcats.
It's good that you have that instinct, it means you have empathy and are a good person.
But sometimes the harsh action is "the best", even though it doesn't feel good in the short term.
Some animals are so annoying and useless that it's "open season" because they do nothing good for anyone.
Not familiar with the southeast, but hogs might be one of those species in that locale. Other areas, geese are open season. They do nothing but honk, shit, and spread disease. Until you roast 'em up.
Do you Eat those? I was gonna head down to hunt dinner but someone told me you can’t eat them after you kill them which surprised me. It’s just pork right?
100% agreed. Shot makes or breaks the meat too. One shot stone dead is much better fare than one 2ss hit and fleeing. HORMONE/adrenaline release, weight, age makes all the difference in taste. IMO
I've had old boar loin that tastes great but the shot has to be great and shot pig stress non existent. Pigs seem to be much better of a taste taken in winter than summer(to me). fat, age, and size play huge role too. They are so bad here in TX tho. Gotta roll them all....*TX: no license, limit, or restrictions. Even out of state folk. show up, pay nothing, have fun....
Hi! I'm in TX too...they're truly pests here. Some family members shot a couple of smaller ones and they were great, but were told that when they get to be too big they aren't very good to eat. Interesting that there's a seasonal difference too. Thanks pede!
So, you trained your kid to hunt and kill feminists?
How dare you.
Whew, those things are a fucking menace. Always rooting in the garbage and dropping deuces wherever they feel like.
Nice shooting, kid!
It does look like San Francisco a little
RIP Rosie O'Donnel
Too small for Rosie.
Reeeeee!!! You Rosie shamed that pig!!!
idk, looks like Lena Dunham to me.
Whew lad 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🤯
😂🤣
"Don't forget to wear flowers in your hair..."
Hakuna Matata. I'm bout ready to move to Alabama and hunt hogs with dogs and knives.
You are going to have a bad time.
The Predator movie with that scene with the bad ass black guy doing it, has led you down a path you do not want to travel.
Those hogs take multiple shots of 5.56 and keep running at full speed, twice as fast as you can run.
Edit : Thanks for all the upvotes and kind words, ladies and gentlemen. It is an honor serving with you on this site.

Lol.
If this was 1985 you'd be ballin
what a metric.
I dont use the metric system as I am an American. Here are some more numbers:
32.04: My hourly wage
5: Straight youth football league titles
97: Career receiving yards in high school
0: Number of monthly waterbed payments I’ve made
500: Number of DVDs I have
1: Suit of Armor
Infinite: My laser printing privileges
Would a bow be better to drop one than a 556. I want a 300blk but that ammo is ridiculous now
That's what the dogs are for - they grab it by the ears, snout, whatever. Then you run up and bleed it. Check some videos - it's freaking wild.
Good way to get your dog killed.
FFS dont use your labradoodle dumb ass. Use dogs trained to do it.
Dont be such a pussy. Chasing hogs is what those dogs were bred and trained to do. They love that shit. The best guides take better care of their dogs then the slack jawed faggots that buy designer dogs to show off on social media.
Haha, you're making me laugh dude.
You're a clever motherfucker.
Yeah no shit genius dont use your wife's boyfriend's fucking chihuahua.
The blood hounds bay the pig. The catch dogs, wearing fucking kevlar armor, grab the pig.
Curs, Lacys, and ridgebacks all good bay breeds too.
Yes, pitbulls are used as catch dogs. So are Bulldogs.
Scent dogs bay the pig. Then the hunter locates them and releases the catch dog(s).

So a "spear" vs a knife determines if one is a moron or not. That extra 4 feet of distance makes you smaht
Yes, it adds leverage and precision while keeping your body at a safe distance.
Leverage maybe, precision no way.
How much safer is 4 feet than 1 foot from a hog?

Home Schoolin there.
Great shot kiddo!! Hunting is the best. It's one of my all time favorite recreational activites. There's nothing better.
???

Beautiful shot and now the entry wound makes a lot more sense. Kid is a good shot here is to many more.

Makes perfect sense, thank you for that, will keep it in mind for the future when I am finally able to go out hunting again.
agreed
op said it was quartered away so its good
May have hit Big Red in front of the spine (aorta).

i keep a .458 win mag in the truck for pigs. it turns most of them to dust.
head shot, shoulder shot, dont matter with the .458 - they ded.
I'm guessing it bled out. Look at all that blood coming from the mouth. I'm curious if the shot is 5.56 or 7.62
Edit: Hey thanks for all the replies. Username check /facepalm lol
.300 BLK is the imperial unit caliber rating... which roughly converts to 7.62 mm.
SPEZ: If you're looking for a visual comparison here you go: https://thebiggamehuntingblog.com/300-blackout-vs-7-62x39/
And it uses all the same components as a standard 556 AR rifle with the obvious exception of the barrel.
You can even convert fired 556 brass to 300 blackout super easily.
And its optimum barrel length is something like 9-10 inches.
All around an excellent cartridge.
Didn't know about the brass conversions.

Hunting animals and shooting them is so inhumane an cruel. I cannot watch this anymore, I gotta go finish my spare ribs.
That kid has no face!
RIP in peace kid face
ROFL
It protects him from doxxing.
thank you captain obvious.
I never went hunting but I think I'd feel bad for the animal to kill it
Not hogs. They’re so many and they are destructive.
Introduced, they breed like rabbits, they kick out all other natural species. They are pest.
Muzzies.
This. 100% this.
Democrats?
africans?
Is wild hog bacon any good?
A feral-hog sow produces a dozen piglets, 13 survive lol
“ wild pigs are five million strong and the targets of a $20-million federal initiative to get their numbers under control” https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/can-wild-pigs-ravaging-the-u-s-be-stopped/ It’s an old article, but initial reasoning that still stands.
Short gestations, large litters, short hunting seasons, lack of hunters, the list goes on. The reasons are numerous
You can take them year-round in Texas and many farmers and ranchers are happy to have the help with population control.
The Spanish is why. Ponce de Leone iirc
its no more gruesome then making dinner. its just foreign to most people now in the west.
Yeah, lots of folks can trim up a roast. Just stop and think where it came from.
I'd reserve judgement until I had more info: distance, moving, wind...
Hogs are enough of a pest that I'd be ok with taking a low probability shot.
If the pig was quartering away it might actually be very good placement to sneak one through the lungs. Plus that’s a good angle to expressly avoid gut shooting.
Spez: 10/10 perfect shot for a quartering deer, possibly high for a heart shot if he wasn’t up in a stand.
lol shot placement out of a helicopter aint easy.
wild pigs are like commies, born to be dead
Vegetarian pede checking in, for what it's worth. In the USA we have the freedom to eat as much or as little animal products as we choose.
Plus these hogs are invasive and kill native plants and starve native animals, so nothing of value is lost by killing one

HONK
Honestly if you eat meat, killing and preparing your own is way more dignified then paying for it from factory farms.
I don't hunt either but in reality factor farming is pretty gross and at the end of the day you're still paying for the animals to be killed.
Factory meat farming is 1000x more terrible than hunting for meat hands down
Excellent! Looks like even the hog enjoyed it. 😂
The kid’s a better shot than I am
Sub-sonic?
Has to be. .300 BLK is designed for suppressor use.
The flower in the ear is top Kek
Do they taste good? Haha
Younger ones and females, I’m told. Opinions vary on older males being gamey or not.

Some wild game is infested with parasites and junk. Living wild has it's consequences. Check your local Fish & Game website for the best info.
They’re generally easier to eat after than before!!
They say young of both sexes and adult females are good eating, opinions vary on if older males are worth cutting up and dragging out.
Rhetorical question: how come twitter and Facebook and tinder ban “photos posing with dead animals” but I can post a pic of my fat juicy steak?
Because people are generally stupid faggots.
Now, if we could just get the police to do the same thing for the rioters in Seattle and Portland.
Excellent work, pede and kidpede. Try not to fret over the abundance of trained snipers this win seems to have accumulated.
BACON!
The teeth match. It is Stacy Abrams.

Name checks out and might I ask if OP is in Texas? We've got so many hogs down here.
Pity 96% of Texas is privately owned. Makes it just that little bit more of a hassle to find a place to pop em.
Two little guys.
Damn, you got Rosie O'Donnell?!?
Name checks out.
Nice kill!
pork jerky for the long haul, build a smoke house
Can be very dangerous quarry. Kid has courage.
Name checks out
Is that too big to be tasty?

Dawn Patrol
that flower though lol
nice! how long a shot was it? you hunt with 300 blackout often?
Nice daisy.
Whatcha gonna do with it???
And they say you can't put lipstick on a pig.. Pffft.
My boyfriend and I always talk about our future son, Sturgeon. I just showed him this picture of “Sturgeon in 10 years.” He loved it haha
Congratulations on a year's supply of pork products for 50 cents.
